Your garden looks great boss. Except for the chunk o' pineapple. That plant looks like shit. But its koo. There was no hardware cloth underneath the sp?

Mine came out cheesy and with a hint of fruit, either way it was bammer to me and didn't really care for the buzz either, might be better in concentrate form?, she yielded good and when she was growing was convinced it was gonna be some good smoke but as further investigated not up to par, those kinds of weed I call foogazy!!! Looks good smells good while growing ..but when smoked not up to par.

And that gopher problem I had a problem last yr with those bastards might sound dumb but I watched a gopher go to one of my GDP thought it was gonna be the next I took bamboo sticks and little shiny fans you get at the dollar store and stuck it on the bamboo stick, the idea is that the wind blows the fans which moves the ground and the gopher thinks there's a predator walking around...did it work? Well that plant never got fucked with again...its cheap and looks like a carnival down in the garden..but didn't have a problem with another gopher last yr and I had no chicken wire or mesh inside the holes either

I moved a railroad tie today, found a nest with a few gopher babies... I picked up a shovel and went to town on the whole family. Fuck with my plants...

Did u stake em up kinda like a warning sign for other gophers in the area....kinda like heads on stakes lol fuk em anything fucks with a plant that size is just plain effin wrong

My cats get gophers....they torment them to death then eat them.
Works for me.

ok question to ask ...ive dug a hole 3by3 by 2ft.i have poured water in the hole (only 1/4 full) ive gone back to it 15 mins later and it hasn't drained away problem??...can I add something to the bottom of the hole to help it break up to drain?its not clay but its reasonably hard but healthy looking

Dig down further.. Use a pickbar if necessary. I would go down another foot (0.3048 meters lol) or so and then test drainage again. If it still isn't good dig more or layer rocks on the bottom for drainage.

yep I will go down another foot no worries,next week tho im on my way back to work lol.then ill fill the hole with water halfway and time how long it takes for it to drain completely.if it takes longer than 2 hours ill layer with rocks that's no problem.cheers GB.the hole still has water in it 1 hour later now but half the water has drained thru...I am also adding pavers as a bit of a raised bed above the hole that would be an extra 2ocm above ground

I had some problems with holes pooling up in the begnnining of the season. I just kept filling them with water to saturate the surrounding soil. And when I water I make sure it is just enough so as not to drown the roots. Pea gravel or stones at the bottom will help out too. Just rinse the gravel real well first.

One of my holes took 24 hrs to drain lol. The plant in it is just fine.

advice taken on board fresno...and I will be able to work out how much water to do so as not to overdo it...cheers

lol so if it takes two to four hours to drain its not as bad as I think then just needs some fine tuning

Yeah. 2-4 hours is decent. Most of my holes took 12 hrs + to drain and my plants are all fine. Just figure out how much water your medium can hold with out starting to "float" in the hole. Take it down a notch and your good to grow.

Here is a shot of my cross cable supports (wire clothes line). I anchor each plant with zip-ties in multiple spots.
