Love watching you work....

You hand water all that?
That's what he said earlier. Sounds like a daunting task but he's got a system that works for him. I still can't believe one person manages this as he says.

Edit: I was not implying anything you said was false.

They look so delicious bro. I have a lot to learn before I try the Rockwool method. How many gavita are you running and how big is your room?. Your setup is bad ass

sorry for such a long delay.

newgrowth, frankly growing in rockwool and hand watering is comparable to soil growing, the only difference being you need to be on top of your pH and test your run off often because you no longer have the buffer that soil allows. well that and faster growth and bigger yields :) and i believe i stated it before, the gavitas are spaced 40" center of the bulb to center of the next. this is a completely legal licensed grow, and frankly on the small side for the legal grows in the area. so that's how big it is lol i'll post new pics soon! sorry for the lag

FamMan, Thanks. They are all Gavita Pro's, so they can be set as high as 1150, though the electric that is ran can not handle that load with all a/c's running . They are all set to 1K. The room has high ceilings, its a good sized space, the yield is consistently 1g/watt. There are rumors of people getting 1.5g/watt with gavitas so we are tweaking a few things and trying to push for more Meds :D
Those people don't remove the part of the plant that soaks up Gavita light and probably use a strain better suitable for long filled up colas, while vegging shorter. Surely you'd come a lot closer to 1.5 with something like amnesia haze... Great job though, looks delicious.

sativied, with jack herer crosses we get 2.5 a light, og 2 to 2.2. the funny part is is that im seeing people get 3 a light with gavitas, however we are getting more per square foot.
for instance, on two 4x8 trays we run 5 lights and they run 3, sure they are getting 9 units, but we are getting 11 in the same space. commercial power is cheap and we would rather have a larger yield in square footage than trying to measure gram per watts.

Spoken like a pro. Indeed, space is a given and not infinite. 5 on 8x8 is a lot though, 4, as in 1 per 4x4 is a bit much already. But yeah, electricity is cheaper than the bud it produces so if 5 gets you more...

That's definitely an interesting way to do it. Here we are limited to number of plants as a caregiver (36 max). So, that determines the way we grow. Do everything to get the max yield out of one plant. I guess that certainly cuts down your labor in vegge.....!!
