Gardner & Bloome Rose Planting Mix

I'm on a VERY tight budget, so FFOF is out for now. I'm in a tiny apartment so mixing my own soil is out too. My local CVS has this Rose mix for a couple bucks for 12 qt dry.

It contains forest humus, fir bark fines, peat moss, perlite, worm castings, chicken manure, bat guano, alfalfa meal, bone meal, kelp meal, washed sand, and oyster shell and dolomite lime for pH.

I've seen references to other G&B soil mixes on RIU, but not the Rose Mix....is it ok? It's GOT to be better than MG MC, right? (My noob ass used MG for my first grow with okish results...not doing that again)
If I use this stuff, should I not use ferts in veg? (I'll be using clones from a dispensary) Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Mj will pretty much grow in anything, so give it a go

Thanks, riddleme...I kinda proved that with my first ghetto grow, lol. I hope round 2 is better...I guess I'll get some, it sounds like it's got good stuff in it.
