Do you have a "go to" recipe? I am reading about your cookies in the TnT section now, but slowly working my way through the thread. You might have said something there. Caramels, maybe? Something easily adjustable, but not unimaginative...brownies are blah. I DO have some books and can throw down in the kitchen - tried a lemon square recipe that would almost kill you it was so sweet. I WASN'T a diabetic, but may need to check again after those. What works best for someone with MAX tolerance? Taste would be GOOD, though as long as it's not like chewing on sod, I'm game to try it. I DO put some bud in my breakfast smoothie which works pretty well. (I have one of those blenders that would puree a brick) Haven't decarboxylated it before putting it in there - didn't really know about it. Will that make that much difference? And... Will a crock-pot work just as well as a Magical Butter machine - is that thing just a waste of money in your opinion? (the self cleaning thing seems kinda cool) - hope I didn't bombard you too badly. Just got into the cooking with weed thang. Makes me look like less of a fiend huffing something all the time.

I would think a butter machine would be like a bread maker is. May save you some time, but probably not worth the money. I really don't know much about the butter machines, always just done it from scratch.

(same with bread actually)

I think a crock pot is just fine. Unless you have NO free time to clean something. In which case - buy the machine?

I love cookies, because it's easy to gauge exactly how much is in each serving. 2 oz of shake makes 100 cookies (about). Then 0.56 g per cookie. That's actually a lot.

When I make them with good bud 1 oz = 100 cookies (usually) or about 0.26 g per cookie.

But, I have NO IDEA what your tolerance would be. You can always have more, and never less. So, it's just good practice to start small. Unless the end goal is to get high as fuck.

I'd just be careful eating a gram or more at one time.

The last cookies the shake I used was from plants, and buds that had been screened for hash already. And 1 cookie was good for me for 4 hours.

Ginger, cinnamon, cardamon, all spice, curry, anything spicy actually would go well with the flavour of weed butter. I love it in baking, but I think next time I make a thai soup I'll throw a bit in at the end.

I just personally don't like the taste of weed butter on it's own.

I always ask the internets for the best recipes. I like this one though:

I think you did...lol. Freeze cookies - surely you jest. I'm not mocking the practice. The cookies won't last that long. I could probably hang with Willie and Snoop. I am not a noob EATING...just the preparing with...lol. I am not saying I couldn't be bested in the tolerance department, but I have never met my equal. Dropped the pain meds for green meds. I have a high tolerance to both. I do have to function, though. I can get sloppy in the evenings if I want. You can put it in just about anything, but after a while I would forget what had it and what didn't. There was also the great brownie incident of 2010. Wife LOVES brownies. HATES feeling high. Everything MUST be marked CLEARLY now. :leaf::leaf: Might try a citrus spice sugar cookie that I bake at Christmas time. Also, it'll be my first time using my crock-pot. Did the stove top thing, but I just can't stand and stir that long.
