They use, probably the same, Epistar 5w LEDs, have the same advertised lifespan and almost identical draw. Sure the Vipar looks a little slicker and I like that die-cut front. But I don't think we would see a big difference in performance. Like I said it's mostly the same parts. All the core parts are probably made in the same 5 factories with all of these Chinese lights. :-) But it's cheaper. The best Mars offered me was $169 for the R96, and it's cheaper on Amazon. So definitely a winner there.
Bridgelux. But yeah, essentially. Their spectrums are different. I'd stick with the Vipar. Their light appears white to the naked eye. It's just a better spectrum.

Hey Ive been starting seeds from 100w CFL bulbs but im thinking about hooking up a 300w led for my seedlings like you did. What distance did you keep your light and did you see any real difference from cfl to led as far as stretching? Right now I transplant 10 days after the seed sprouts but it looks like your plants are way healthier than mine at day 7. Thanks!

Hey Guys started my first grow ever about a week ago using a 300w galaxy and two 65w daylight clfs, im glad to see people doing great with the galxy hydro gives me high hopes
