I am growing out the power skunk seeds that came free with my order from the attitude. I have been looking for info, pics, flowering time, etc from someone that has grown them and cant find anything but people saying they suck. To me nothing beats free buds and I'm still learning so I'm went for it. I'm using a 400w hps from htgsupply. I'm using foxfarm soil. I ended up with 2 females. Of these two, I put one straight into flower and the other in veg. Buds took a long time to form, trichromes tooke even longer. Very long and thin buds, nothing like the church or unknown indica that I was flowering alongside it. I let it grow straight up, no lst or topping. It grew to be about 5 1/2 feet tall. I got about a half oz from it. I waited 10 weeks, even though the package said 8 to 9 weeks. I think i should have let go for longer but I have never grown a sativa so I wanted to see what the early harvest might be like. Most of the pistils were orange, tho some were still white and sticking straight out. After drying for a week the buds are still stringy and the white hairs have all turned. There is no "dank" smell because it is still curing.

As for the plant that was vegging, I saw how tall the first one was growing, so I decided to carefully try to bend a 4 foot plants. I pushed it a little to far and snapped this plant in half. I tried to salvage a few clones from the top half but due to inexperience with this I was only able to get one clone to root. I vegged this one and put the leftover to flower to see how this plant would react. The top few branches have grown to be about 3 feet and the second set are about a foot and a half. I've had to tie them up. no pics of this yet cuz the lights are off right now.

The clone vegged for about a month or so. I used LST to try and keep the new sprouts low and make the plant bushier. I took a few clippings and then decided that it was big enough to flower. Now this thing is turning into a monster and it is only 3 weeks in. I hope this will help out anyone that was like me and looking for pics/info.
Feel free to comment.

I've smoked some of the smaller buds as they dry out. The taste is kinda sweet, gets me more "High" than "stoned" I'll let you know how it is when it's finished curing.
I'm scared to top, I've only tried bending them and that seems like a bad idea with this strain.
This pic is the clone that I've bent, check it out.

This was the way I had it tied up but the buds started getting fatter and touching each other so I changed it to the second picture.

Nice training you got going on there.
Does it have that few leaves just cause of the strain or did you prune it?

The only info I can find says it has a high bud to leaf ratio. Other than the when it snapped it half, I haven't pruned it. I forgot about it for a week or so in early flowering(focusing on another plant) and lost a few leaves this way but I was able to fix it, and lost no more than 4 or 5 fan leaves, and a few more have fallen off from flowering. It should make for easy trimming.

thats awesome i dont haave much space but ur plants look great
Thanks. The space thing is a little annoying with this one. The clone that I started flowering has branches that are 2 feet long. I was thinking about getting rid of it but I'm gonna see how far I can take her before I run out of room in my closet.

supposed to be 8 to 9 weeks, but I had on that went for 10 weeks and I think it could have gone longer. It was ok, buds dried and there really wasnt much to them. The one I have that is almost ready will be fed this week for the last time then I will start the flush at week 10 for a total of 12 weeks. Alot of the reading that I have done says that sativas grow slow and it seems there area quite a few that take up to 12 weeks. I did cut a branch at 8 weeks to try. it's been drying for a week and the taste is way better than the first plant. kinda minty, not so much skunky. I figure another few weeks growing can only make it better. I am checking trichromes everyday, just to make sure that I dont wait too long. I'll post how long it takes when I chop it down

I had it about two feet but after I saw how it was growing I put it a little further than the point where I feel heat on my hand. They are filling in now. The newest plant I put into flowering was directly under the light and was getting long anyway so now I just put it where it fits. It seemed like it was gonna stretch anyway but I know some of it was my fault.
