Fvcking Baby Boomer Hippies Wrecked America

Ah, don't blame me but my generation's leaders have a lot to explain. I didn't have shit except my imagination and good LSD. I was basically on my own since I was 12 but always had a place to sleep so I was a lucky boomer. I just worked all my life and retired and don't see how I could have contributed to this mess we're in now. I voted for McGovern but was unaware the greed that was in Nixon's agenda. I was able to buy a new care in 1974 working at a small factory with my wife staying at home (worthless shit head she was) but didn't go hungry. Shit's changed a lot but I'd start the blame game with Nixon and Reagan and they were not baby boomers.
Reagan was elected by baby boomers, as was Bush, Clinton and shrubbery.

Our economy was the envy of the world in the 50s and 60s and it was still doing okay in the 70s.

Neoliberalism wrecked our country.

Again, you have suggested no solution yet try to call yourself Enlightened while calling others names.

As soon as groups are larger than families, politics becomes a necessary technology. Your insipid denials of this fact are the fundamental error in your thinking. Until you grasp that, nothing you say will be relevant.

The hour is late and time is running short for you. Will you ever catch on? The World Wonders...

So, you are okay with peaceful people being automatically enveloped in an involuntary system with or without their express individual consent ?

That is something you and many others who polish the political turd never address. Why not? Will you ever catch on that you can't begin a process based in coercion in hopes to also remove or prevent coercion. It is logically impossible. I win.

I usually smoke joints. I sometimes pre-roll a shitload and file them according to their effect.

Now shouldn't you be listening for the footsteps of your wife so she won't catch you viewing perky breast websites old timer?
Well we see a truthful conversation is not in you. Are you ashamed that you file taxes every year like a good obedient citizen. Living on the plantation always talking about escaping "to get yo freedom from massa " but every morning you still here giving the same old tired speech. STFU slave and tell me how you are going to file next year.

You're a loser who complains endlessly about hope things are so terribly unfair without offering any solutions.

You keep trying to put words in other people's mouths; that's your first clue your schtick is weak.

does that seem like I'm lusting ? You should read some of the letters your momz sent me. Now that is lust.

So you don't like 60 year old boobs, but you go wild for eighty something year old racks?

If you can unstick some of those letters, you'd get more mileage out of them.

I see that to claim your "win" you did not address my unassailable logic/argument and instead went for the personal insult as the main feature of your argument.

So, how do you create a system based in involuntary participation which is overarching and has coercion as a main ingredient and then achieve peaceful human relations ? (Hint you can't, but I'd love to hear your explanation or rebuttal...if you have one)

Your momz boobs are unique due to her nipple shape and size, for her exceptions are made.
I also like her motto "Feed the world ".
Sad that no one will tell her the milk dried up years ago, but oh well.
I have no clue what she puts on her letters to make them stick together so, care to share ? She just claims it as her special juice and wants me to scratch and sniff. Can you say seafood buffet

Nice try but still no solutions anywhere in there.

You can't even be bothered to support your own use of collective goods, such as the internet you're whining on right now.

Any solution to coercion must necessarily begin with eliminating coercion in favor of voluntary processes and human interactions as the default status. Politics is the antithesis of that.

Also, it is impossible to achieve peace by herding all people into the same "system", in fact the herding if founded in a threat of offensive force for failure to comply makes peace impossible under that system. That statement is unassailable and provides the basis for my argument and dismantles yours, which favors involuntary human relations as a basis.

So, then you ask, what is the solution? It is to stop empowering some people over others via the political process. How things would proceed from there is a good question, but first until you acknowledge the accuracy of how I've explained the impossibility of your argument ever working, you are still asleep, since you are advocating two opposing things at once.

Could I answer your questions of how things might occur differently? Yes. Maybe I will after you wake up.

Your magic world of 'everyone has all the room and resources they need without others' doesn't exist and arguably never has. Therefore your premise is bullshit and any conclusions drawn from it are as wrong as they are fetid.

You just don't want to acknowledge how much you owe others for every aspect of your comfortable life. That makes you selfish, not Enlightened.

Ted Kaczynski was also an antisocial Luddite, but at least he was honest enough to write his screeds in a cabin in the woods while scrounging for his own subsistence.

The Hippies were the only ones in the 60's/70's that had their shit together (and died for it) by dragging us out of needless wars, showing America the damage being done to our environment, decrying racism and poverty in our cities, and the cost to America by a needless war on drugs, or shall I say a war on truth.
I paid my taxes, worked hard for my money, and got fucked by every single one of my Republican employers, so that's a big reason I went underground and now am a criminal in the eyes of the Law.
These are the ones that fucked this country, the Republican God Fearing Evangelical Boomers, not the Hippies.
So Millennials/GenX, get off your skinny asses and do something to help to straighten out the continuing mess that you have inherited, just like the one I inherited, which without the "Hippie" you would have shit all, like every liberal protocol that you enjoy today, like LGBTQ rights/Civil rights/Equal pay/Planned Parenthood and legal herb in 8 states in this country.
We invented political activism motherfuckers, so don't blame your hippie parents, learn from them and do something besides moan, you little boys and girls
That does sound nice. But are these the same hippies who spit on soldiers coming home from war, calling them baby killers? Why not attack the politicians instead of the poor who were forced to go?

It must be said that many of those hippies grew up and went Republican.

The Greatest Generation (those who lived through the Great Depression and fought WWII) struggled to build a better world for their kids and their country. Those kids, according to the article, never had to struggle for anything and failed to appreciate the gift they were given.

I posted the article at least partly in jest, in the spirit of its writing (I think). That said, our nation is turning on itself and will destroy everything they worked so hard to build if we don't turn things around soon. And that's no joke.

Yep, that was one of the largest mistakes the Vietnam peace movement made. Pretty much everybody winces at that historical fact, including the perpetrators. The only excuse that could be offered is that hippies were young and dumb. The hostility that veterans faced when coming home was abominable.

Your last two paragraphs were non sequiturs and not worth vociferously responding to, as they aren't applicable to me or the conversation. I'm not anti social and do a good deal of voluntary outreach to those who need it. I have lived in the woods though, oddly enough like Ted K, I have two eyes, two arms and two legs. Scary huh?

Concerning a bullshit premise, would you agree that you can never achieve peace by using a system which has a basis in coercion / involuntary inclusion ? If you disagree, please tell me why. Can you?

I'll assume you aren't dumb enough to try to argue that present iterations of government aren't involuntary, which is why I pose the question above which you will likely flee from.

It was proven through impeachment proceedings that President Nixon lied to his country. To people like Givens, the notion of agents posing as hippies in order to discredit the movement is not that hard to swallow.

My cousin was stabbed to death while waiting on a connecting flight here in SF from Vietnam on his way to DC. The war wasn't over for him and he liked hippies.

Nixon had his own brand of Bannon chaos. jmo.
