FuZZyBuDz takes a D.W.C. dip, first hydro grow! {of course theres piks}

OK so ive been a dirt-bagger fer a while now, but lookin at a sertin someones avatar on here (crop) ive decided to go into the Water. i kept it simple, REAL simple!

-AIR PUMP- dual valve eco-air


-2_4 inch air stones


-Easy Green Hydroton


little bit of drillin, and tape up the buket so its light proof.


didnt have any clippings to use but i had this lil seedling


so i extracted it from the soil, rinsed with luke warm water, threw it in the net pot i got.










and theres my MINI D.W.C. setup, 30 bux and 20 minutes. OH added a drop of superthrive and 1.25 ml of Humbodlt NUTES honey ES.

look at the pik of wen it first got put into the net pot....i think she likes it!

Oh one thing you might want to do if you haven't already is throw 3 ml per Gallon of 26% Hydrogen Peroxide, especially since you just transplanted from soil.
I add it every 5 days to m y res.

I would go out and get the 26% H202 it is much better, wear gloves though! 26% is some crazy potent stuff..

ALSO, about the DWC bucket,the honey es doesnt do so good in dwc, at least not anything over a ML of it. but i threw in sum Fox farms BB (7 ML) and a lil fox farms GB (3 ML), she (hopefully she) is starting to make new root, it looks like its making a WEAPON hahaha all spikey and shit. but yea goin good other than thet, i like hydro.

those roots are quite...brown...but it looks like you got new root growth.

thats wat i was think wen i pulled it out of the water the other morning the shrubs let me kno the honey ES is no beino in DWC (or at least not 2.5 ML a gal) it created a sludge on the roots but is gone now and good growth is coming they new growth is BRIGHT WHITE and RAPID!

Right on, glad to hear the browning wasn't a problem. looks clean otherwise..

*tip - Freeze two liters of water and pop em in the res in the mornings (watch out for raising the water levels) and when you expand chillers are 500 bucks or so...

Hey fuzzybudz. Very nice set up. I like it. nice and simple, and you know I dig that. Good job on the DWC reservoir build!

I was worried as I went through this post and saw the root rot. I'm glad to hear you stopped using that bullshit ES.... Not for hydro. I saw the new root growth looking nice and white, and that is good!

As far as res temps go, try to keep them under 70 degress F if possible and you'll be fine.

Looking nice fuzzy, ill stay tuned in. Im thinking about dwc too.

So how's the roots doing? I noticed they were clearing up in the one pic. I'm guessing they're better now. I hope you were able to get some hydro specific nutes like we were talking about... I'll check back later.
