Hi all,
my roots are a little fuzzy,
I'm only concerned as my veg box is small, hot and humid (2 drawer file cabnit) so I'm on the lookout for mold.
the stems, plants, rockwool and clayballs look great, it is just these fuzzy roots i haven't seen before.
any help would be great.
Bob.

idk if u pulled that out jut to showit, they shouldnt be exposed to light.
But, I think the fuzzy could be mold or some other issue, I do not personally think its good...

thanks for the quick answers,
I'm not sure its good, the pics are focused its just a layer of fuzz rather then little hairs, unless of course they are real fine and shitloads of 'em.
i guess time will tell, its on all of them so I'm not pulling them up.

hey,
the plants are young, on drippers at the moment but the roots are hanging and there been there since they were 2/3 week old clones and had no visible roots maybe 6 weeks old now.

Okay, these appear to be great healthy roots. The fuzz is not a problem, as long as you are seeing lateral root growth as well. Good job!

I think they look incredibly healthy. And it makes a lot of sense that when in hydro, your roots will naturally have much more little hair development to in take more water. roots found in soil would be lucky to looks like this.
