FUUUUCK!!! What now?

So I came home today to find what I believe to be mold all over my buds. These girls were late to flower and we've had shitty, rainy weather lately, and it seems to have gotten the better of them.

I'm so pissed right now. It looks like all the time, work and money I put into these was for nothing. Obviously I can't smoke them, but is there anything else I can do? Is this a total loss?

For some reason I'm unable to upload pictures right now, but I'll keep trying.

This is no big deal...like a toddler throwing the toys out of the crib! ..relax just next year you germ and harvest a month earlier, in time you will learn to protect yourself with Neem Oil to my blog: https://www.rollitup.org/Journal/Entry/neem-oil.27514/
learn to deal with a mold attack that all good gardeners learn to handle: https://www.rollitup.org/Journal/Entry/bud-rot-botrytis-cinerea-or-gray-mold.30158/
then how to recover from that said attack

:
This works well with plant sin a pot wrapped in plastic trash bags and inverted ...and if you are still crying your nuts off use the water cure, google it I've yet to have it on my journal

good luck ...its easy!

I'd hardly consider myself to be crying my nuts off. Obviously I'm disappointed with the outcome of this grow, and yes, I was venting a little, but mostly I just wanted to hear from people who know about these things what I can do to salvage at least something so this isn't a total loss. Thank you for posting the links. I appreciate it.

This strain was clearly not compatible with the climate where I live. They've been growing since April, so I don't think I started them too late. They just took too long to start flowering and I ran out of time before the weather got bad. Next year I'll try a strain more suited to my location and hopefully have better luck. Lesson learned.

I've chopped one and I'm tossing anything with any signs of mold or rot. It's too dark out now so I'll chop the rest tomorrow. I'm going to have some super premature bud, but oh well. It is what it is. I'm sure I've smoked worse.

Dude...don't chop yet if you can avoid it. I had a problem last year that was very similar to yours. My problem was cotton mold (pic attached), which is very similar to grey mold. What I did was go into each infected cola and carefully remove those individual infected nodes (bud sites). The plants weren't the prettiest you want to see, but it was great at the end. Sorry for your problem and your grow looks great! Good luck and Peace
:peace:
