Howdy Y'all!

first I'd like to say please respect everyone's comments, don't hate its an open discussion so please be respectful!:joint:

I have noticed a lot of new seed makers popping up on the medical boards, most are just making F1 fem crosses using clone only genetics, and mass pollination methods. Now i heard there is going to be a product on hydro shop shelves does the same thing as CS, STS. I got to say my first thought was "cool" then "It's gonna get real muddy, quick!"

so the question I'd like to pose is:

How do you see this effecting the seed industry?

while the industry is going to crash soon due to peoples greediness there will always be people with massive seed collections of land race, and f1 hybrids and clones etc, using real males to breed, not even to make money but just for learning sake,or even just to make a strain for your needs, that happens to get big and then why not sell some seeds, there will always be people like subcool who will keep good genes alive:)

heres what will happen

eventually the bubble will burst

a few true breeders (actual breeders) will rise from the leftover mess and it will restart.

rinse and repeat

pretty much what I was saying, next is the time of the home breeder, many people out there working on their own little projects :)

I have to agree. Generally speaking, I believe fem seeds to be bad for everyone down the line. In time, the true breeders will be laughing. You remember that Blue Bonnet commercial..."It's not nice to fool Mother Nature"?

If a lot of the jerkoff businesspeople who post here keep doing what theyre doing I envision large corporations getting involved and selling crap genetics with a germination and sex guarantee. Its a shame we cant seem to do it on our own without screwing our fellow potheads over. When this whole MMJ legalization thing kicks off, shady practices wont be tolerated and cookie cutter corporations will swoop in and knock a whole bunch of people out of business with a better shopping experience (but probably crap genetics).

Imagine grandma, who wants to grow her own but doesnt want to deal with a shady asshole, strolls down to a gardening center and gets a
Jiffy CannaKit for $50. 1 light 2 auto fem seeds 2 nutes and a box with a pot built in. Or some rebranded aerogarden/topsy turvy thing.

Can you smell the money and decay?

That's the fear a lot of people have, but I think it'd be more akin to the craft beer or wine industry.
