Fushing agents

One guy says yea its good and someone else tells you diffrent. I dont have to worry about it yet im just kind of testing the water to see if I can find a clear answer so to speak. Im thinkin about doing somethin diffrent on this grow but I'll just play it by ear for right now I keep an open mind though.
nah brother, we are ALL telling you that it's not needed, not recommended and simply scientifically nonsense.
just saying.
A clear answer to your question is NO, it's not needed, or useful.
If you are worried about getting the max out of your terpines and cannabinoid profiles, then I suggest going organic and getting a good $1500 setup on a good LED panel.
Continuing to banter back and forth is EXACTLY what the flush-police wants from you, either that or you are a sock-puppet with too much time on your hands.
either way..

for soil two weeks of plain water in amount of 10X amount of container that it is in . Flushing "agents" do nothing IMO for your plants, your trying to get rid of nutrients and chemicals so why put something containing them back into them ? In hydro I use plain water in res for 7-10 days.

say what?
so if I have a 7 gallons smartpot, you are suggesting I give it 70 gallons of water??
I typically run 9 or 12 plants, either in 7 gals, 10s, or 12 gals, that's a metric fuck-ton of water to waste..
That being said you hydro guys do some straaaaaange things.. not hating or judging, just sayin.
PHing with your fancy do-dads, and PPMing and such...

Yeah over the course of 14 days 70 gallons of water is not that much 5 gallons a day if my math is right . You could flush with less but with the power feeding I used to do it took that much water to get rid of the chemicals in my soil, but yeah it is a metric fuck ton of water and I used to do it , Honestly I find hydro easier to run then soil because of all the back breaking work it entails, Old school hippes and there dirt and shit lol:)

Who said I was angry..? And yea flushing your pots before harvest is a debate some of the time like now lol. Anyways giving water last couple of weeks im kool with that, but if flushing agents like florakleen are supposed to flush the salts n shit out then theres really no diffrence because you're doing it with the same purpose anyways with or without agents. But why would anyone want to "not" get that shit out of their medium last couple of weeks? I dont know about you but I dont want to taste the nutes I want to taste my bud..

You could give nutes up to bout a week before you harvest then use florakleen like last week then one last flush then harvest too then at least your not depriving the plant of nutes for a lengthy period of time.

But then again water should work fine because you want the plant to use up all the nutes n shit stored in the leaves naturally..

Im growing outdoor in Fox Farms Happy Frog soil just wondering if flushing agents in the last 2 weeks of flowering would make my harvest better or if I should just flush with ph-ed water? And im just curious as to what kind of results it will give me. Also im curious if im supposed to administrate nutes as soon as I see flowering and what week should I start flushing and if I should use ph-ed water when flushing? Note Happy Frog has ph adjusters but still never can be too sure.. thanks guys..

so do you think your flushing agent is safe to smoke? after all it makes gone what ever your trying to get rid of. here is a simple way to flush say you feed 1200 ppms well at wk 7 straight water for a wk your ppms should drop on run off by end of wk 8 everthing should be pale yellow or purple and your ppms should be the same as the water you hAd before nutrients

Wow!!! That really sums it up.. I thought there were ppl on here that actually new what they were talking about..

Here's it is little more in depth...1.. It does totally make a difference how you're growing.. If u r 100% organic. I mean your making you're making compost, and really all natural ingredients. Well, then flushing isn't really that big a deal.. But if you're using anything that has even one synthetic additive, then yes you should flush.. Someone said that 10g of water for every gal of soil.. That's a bit excessive, normally 3G of water to every gal of soil does the trick.. That'll get all nutrients out and all the salt built up.., Which brings me to flushing agents... Are they a waste of money? Well that's for u to decide. For ppl that grow in something like straight ocean forest, or happy frog a flushing agent would b helpful because in a five gal pot of soil u would need 15 g of water in one sitting to properly flush it.. Well with as slow as it drains you'd be there for days.. So using something that would speed up that process like a flushing agent.... well might come in handy...
2. Ppl stop asking "how will depriving your plant of nutrients at a time when it needs them most help." That's amusing to me.. Your not depriving them of nutr. Your depriving whatever media you grow in of nutr. Which like i said before forces your plant to eat itself... The most natural clean food that it could get.... (Which leads to a whole other topic of pulling leaves to allow more light inside your plant..don't do it!!! Your plant needs those leaves when u flush!! Not to mention pulling a leaf off that's in a prime spot of light is stupid as hell, within a few days the plants just going to put another one in the same spot.. Y? Cuz it wants it there to help it grow!!

Anyways.. I'm sure u have at least two plants that r the same age and strain.. Test it yourself.. Properly flush one , and give the other food until u harvest.. U decide if it makes a difference... If I were a betting man id put my money on the plant u flush not only yielding more and tasting better.... But what do I know I've only been growing for 20 years.. Oh and every nutrient company out there( which all say to flush) hasn't a clue about it either. They just want your money.,, lmao

DING-DING-DING.. we have a winner!
In jest you actually answered the whole thread's question!
Cool, now we can close this thread.
Just curious... do you think fuel injector cleaners are needed, or oil stabilizers?
intake tornados or fuel line magnets to align your fuel molecules...
those things are sold to the public....
now granted in some cases fuel injector cleaners are needed, but not common, and NOT if you take care of your vehicle...
the rest?
it's bullshit man, you think just because companies sell them, that they are needed?
I mean if you bought an entire lineup of bottled shit, you'd drop hundreds on useless, needless shit.
A company #1 priority is to make $$$$
