Funny Looking Plant

Hi,
I usually just pull these things and start fresh, but I'm thinking of letting this one grow to see what happens. Has anyone grown one of these to maturity.

You have nutrient issues I'm thinking too many ppm and/or ph is off~
It's not the nutes or ph. I am meticulous about these things. I mix all my nutes at once. Here is a picture of the other plants it it growing with. The plant in question is the tiny one in back on the left. It is smaller than the rest because it is 2 weeks younger than the ones in front and one week younger than the one on it's right. Nute and ph problems result in yellowing and browning of the leaves. This plant is very green with minimal browning at the tips of one set of leaves.04-14-12 039.jpg04-14-12b 001.jpg

Could be just a genetic problem. Is it a certain strain type? Its plenty young enough to recover. I'm currently working on a similar problem with a new strain I'm trying out.

Similar don't you think? I know it has me scratchin my head too...
It does look similar, but mine has funny numbers of fingers growing on the leaves. It has 4 on 1 side and 3 on the other. When the leaves get a little bigger it will be easier to see. It's like some kind of genetic problem. I just wondering if I should let it grow or pull it. I hate killing seedlings, but I hate wasting space with stuff that isn't worth growing even more.

Ok, it's getting a bit bigger and you can see the deformities better. If you look closely you can see one side of the plant has this funny looking 4 finger leaf. The next leaf group coming out is the same. 3 fingers on one side and 4 on the other. I'm thinking of growing it out and doing a journal. You know, for science.

I am having a similar problem with one of my GH ex cheese plants. I always say take extra care of them and keep really good notes you never know what will come out of it!!! Might be the next canni cup winner!!!

Grow it.

If it turns out to be a male, breed it with something else.
It's been my experience that the worst males make the best to cross with.
I was reading on some agricultural or university's site that it has something to do with recessive genes in the male being activated or carried over into the new strain, or something like that.

I think I will. It is growing fine, it just looks funny. I'll post more pics as it gets bigger. I have some Critical + starting right now also. I'd love to get cross with that.
