Fungus gnats (and some other fly) killing my buzz....

I find yellow sticky traps, cut up and placed directly on the medium surface, face up, from the very first day of your run, will all but rid you of any issues in terms of fungus nats. Waiting to catch these little critters on hanging traps within the room is waiting way too long. Breaking their life cycle is the key...Good luck friend.

I had fungus gnats in my no till bed after I top dressed a ton of homemade wormcastings and like the advice above a little DE, yellow sticky traps, and the presence of predatory mites (already in the bed as preventative) completely cleaned them up in a week. Now I find one or two on a trap a week and that doesn't bother me at all since they are really just annoying rather than plant destroyers.
