Fungus gnat problem! help?

I'm just not seen any bugs or eggs. I just believe this is the shit thats in Miracle Gro. Perhaps also the fact that I only have them in small pots too. I can't really transplant them right now. They are about 1 week into flowering now. In your opinion do you think they'll make it? Because of how small the pots are, I have to water them a little everyday. I try not to over water plus i use towels to catch the extra water and i wash them so they dont mold. Just not quite sure why they are looking like they want to die all of a sudden

How many gallons are the pots? plants dont do well if you transplant them right before flowering because they will start growing roots instead of flowering. you want to transplant at least three weeks before flowering. if they aren't showing sex then maybe you could pull them out of flower and transplant them in a bigger pot but the lighting change may mess with them a bit. it depends on how big your pots are.

They're almost a gallon maybe.. I don't have anything bigger and with my family, the way they are,I cant transplant them again. I've already switched lights to 12/12. Its been a week no sign of bud. Although they are showing that they are female.

Just saw this old thread and wanted to throw out some tips. Fungus gnats live for 5 days from egg to larvae and then into gnat. The reason I share this is that if you purchase dunks or ovicide(egg-killer) within 5 days the life cycle can be interrupted significantly. The larvae are what do the damage so start killing eggs. Then the problem became letting my medium dry more because it didn't need to. I use "Zone" a sterilizing additive that will help root rot and kill off the fungus that they are eating. This will kill beneficial bacteria as well so dont use together. Then prevention.....clean, cayenne spray, sticky traps. The sticky traps are nice because you can see the level of infestation and its decline.
