Full LED closet grow of Top44

citric acid works well thats what i use because i grow organic . just a tip for citric acid. make your water up add you additives or not and adjust ph let the water sit for atleast a day or two and check and adjust ph again if needed .
citric acid tends to take a bit more monitoring than other methods. city water has ph buffers to keep it at a neutral balance and its some strong stuff.

So shitty news: My UFO was delivered to a wrong address! Some other biatch signed for it and everything! Like wtf... If a package is delivered to you, with a name NOT EVEN SIMILAR TO YOUR OWN, you DONT F***ING SIGN FOR IT! Bitch.. anyways, my nice expensive light is now in the hands of some woman, at least its in my town... and hopefully that lame-ass delivery company can find it and get it back to me ASAP, or at least get my money to get a new one. I'm from the great white north, and I currently, unfortunately, live in like the worst province known to man for "professional efficiency" (in my opinion anyways (i'm sure you can all guess)) so i guess CFLs will have to do for now, and I'll just add more if need be!

Oh, the delivery company was DHL... my FULL name and address were on the package, according to both the person who shipped it AND the chick i spoke to from DHL when i called to complain, so basically they hire retard delivery people? Who knows, but play it safe, UPS/FedEx all the way!

Actually, in the US, "USPS all the way!" You don't need a federal warrant to open up a dhl box! Just a tip.

Im sure it was "lost" and you really did order it.
Because if you started this journal 2 weeks ago and never ordered a LED light, and then lied about shipping it to the wrong address, well that would be really lame.
Anyways man good luck, I hope your cfl grow goes well

ER - Good tip man, but the light was from ebay, delivered from china... shipping was free, otherwise i would have gotten it from a canadian hydro store (cause here the lights are more)

I can't believe I'm doing this, but where there is one, there are more.. hopefully this will allow people to believe me? If not... well, I'm continuing the journal anyways, and hopefully all will be resolved in a matter of days.

In all fairness the bigtomatofarmer did try to help you first with advice on a ph tester. You foolishly rejected his help and said you dont care about ph.
And your title is very misleading. You said it is a full LED grow but it isnt. It is a CFL grow. You did say on the 11th you had a LED light when you didnt.
Dont get mad at the farmer for calling b.s.
As far as I can tell the number of posts by any member does not correlate with his/her knowledge of growing. I have seen people with over 1000 posts writing retarded things all day long.
I would prefer seeing people like the farmer with few posts who actaully give advice rather than people with 1000 posts talking about nonsense all day.

he didn't try helping, he merely asked IF i was monitoring my pH, to which i replied no.... Also I don't recall ONCE saying that I currently had the UFO, in fact I believe i mentioned once or twice that I was still waiting for it, hence the cfls... Something along the lines of "under 2 cfls right now, until i get my led in..." seems straightforward enough... Also this isn't a "cfl grow", that would imply only the use of cfls. If you tell me how to change the name of the thread, ill be more than happy to do so... things change, people improvise... my title reflects my intents for this grow. Thanks for at least wishing me luck though!

Seeing as how I feel that I'm being rather positive and polite in this journal, thanking everyone for their information and not attacking anyone (defense=/=attack), please show the same courtesy, and only post if offering info, or with questions regarding the grow itself, rather than questioning the validity of my posts. I have yet to lie on this forum, and to be honest I really see no reason to... I don't even know any of you...

so on that note, let the journal move forward (by that i mean no more mention of the previous 5 or 6 posts... opinionated people will never see eye to eye, so the only solution is to move on...)

Id call and bitch to the supervisors at dhl, threaten to call the better business burrow and leave a complaint. Id say that the driver is the responsible party and you could actually charge him with stealing. simply because he made the screw up and i know you paid a a bit for the ufo . if you paid over 500 that could be a felony. anyways dhl owes you a ufo if they don't want to man up get a lawyer.

Wow, thanks Candy, that could be useful information! Does it apply to Canada? (I am completely in the dark in terms of protocol in these situations :S)

I spoke to them and they made it sound like a truly grueling process! Like I supposedly have 90 days to contact the seller, get a copy of the waybill, file a claim (with the senders sig saying that he WONT file a claim), and basically a lot of sending "official signed documents" back and forth... So if there is a quick and effective threat method that could help, I'm totally up for giving it a try! Things like that are easy with cellphone companies, like they bow to your every whim, but I guess we'll see with DHL.

The retarded part, is that they sent the driver to my place, and he actually had the nerve to tell me that he definitely remembers delivering to this area, and he believes he remembers my door and a lady answering it... i was like.. bullshit... there hasnt been a woman here in months... haha (lame.. yeah..)

So it's the end of day 4, and new growth is developing between the pairs of "real" leaves.
(Small thing to report, but as I have never done this before, I'm going to try to be thorough!)

Oh, and the stems seem to be getting more robust, especially in the two smallest plants (i guess they had less stretching time...)

wow was i that stoned when i read the post i don't remember you saying that you were in Canada. anyways see if you can talk the seller into working it out with dhl, they might get a better reaction because they can cancel contracts and so on. if their not willing to help you id take it to e bay. e bay will help you out for sure or the seller will lose there account. or just cancel the credit card transaction and tell them to screw themselves.

So today sucked bag...
I finished an assignment, and in celebration a friend and I hit the bong. Me then, being stoned, completely forgot that tonight my landlord was showing people the apartment! I get home, and sure enough, the closet door is open, the blanket pushed back. Nothing was touched at all, but when i called her to apologize she didn't say anything, but still sounded a little weird.

Anyways, I start to calm down, tell myself that the police wouldnt be able to get a warrant cause there is nothing indicating a grow, except for the landlords word. So i go to take out the trash, and see that both ends of my street are blocked by three cop cars, and that around 8 or 9 cops were outside.

Now, had i not been completely blitzed, I would most likely have rationalized that for a small personal grow, there wouldnt be 9 cops and a road block.... must have been something else... but I WAS blitzed, so i ate my 4 little seedlings, took everything down in a hurry, threw the pots and dirt and stuff in the garbage and continued taking out the rest of the trash, with all evidence, and put it at the road, as if I hadn't noticed the police at all.

Now I'm good and sober, and can see that I really probably wasnt in danger, and also that my landlord really probably wouldnt have called the fuzz, as then she would be implicated as well, being the owner of the building.

So... was I an idiot? or was I right to error on the side of caution?

im with mountain on that one. plus your land lord will be constantly bugging you to see if your growing. or she was interested cause she cant find anything good for her self.

Very true Candy, fuck, i actually did pause once the last bag of trash was at the road, and i called my buddy to tell him everything. When I paused to consider my current state, i couldn't believe how insanely fucked up I was, lol the adrenaline had me shaking like a fool. Picture a pure sativa high on speed, haha

Anyways, if i DO grow again, I think i'll look into all these neat little PC grows, or another inovative stealth grows... a rickety old closet, in a building owned by sumone else, during the time when people are looking to sign new leases, isnt the best situation.... Regardless I don't think that I'm in any danger, I'm in a very large, very pot-friendly city in canada... walk down the main road on a sunday afternoon and guaranteed you smell weed at every corner, haha Just wish I could have seen that when i was trippin, haha. Anyhoo, if the cops DO come a knocking, the plants themselves are gone, so even if nutes and soil are found... oh well, i was growing rosemary
