Fucked up 12/12 on the first night...how bad is it!?

So on 7/4 I unplugged my lights to start my 24hrs of darkness to get my girls ready for flower. On 7/5 at 11pm I went to set my timers for the 12/12 (on at 11pm, off at 11am). Well, like a fucking idiot I forgot to set one of my timers, and now i am TERRIFIED that I just ruined EVERYTHING!!! I’m not sure how much extra light they got. Even if, worst case scenario, the lights were on for a full 24, after being off for a full 24, how bad did I fuck up!? How likely are my chances they’re going to herm? ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!!!

Just veg an extra week if you feel it's gonna herm on you lmao.

just carry on 12/12,make sure timers correct and no light leeks and u should be ok!

wont worry them unless u have shit genetics i think but just go straight to 12/12 next time to save unnecessary accidents.

You dont have anything to worry about with 1 mishap, just get everything setup properly so it dont happen again.

If they hermie cause of that, they were gonna hermie no matter what, it was the genetics

Yes this stuff happens frequently to many growers, if you search these forums you will find many threads just like this one.

The exact same thing as u did hasn't happened to me but ive had light timer issues like every grower has.
Unless the cycle is repetitive then the plant would largely ignore it is my thinking.

Nothing ruined unlees hermed.

If you did 24 dark followed by 24 light youve still given the plants the same light dark period as a 12/12 just over 48 hours instead of 24 hours. Remember that days are made and used fir humans to keep track if time. You should be fine carrying on 12/12

Don't worry . Just smoke a bowl and breathe .
Now set timers to what you want and go on with life .
It's just a weed . Don't tell the plants you had a brain fart . They won't know .
I have been growing for years and have never givin them a 24 hour period of darkness before flowering . Nature doesn't do it either .

Just move the timer from 18/6 to 12/12 when you want to go to flower in the future. That's it. That's all there is to it. No voodoo involved.

Set your timers, stop panicking, and have a drink and calm down.

They dont start to flower for a week or two not over night. You did nothing to hurt them

Have you tried the voodoo? 24 hrs and 36 hrs flower initiation has worked for me, I've tried both and without. Flowers onset faster time after time. She was on the right track just messed up the timer is all. Way to belittle someone reaching out for advice in a nice way..good job jackass great advice

That's not the issue. The issue is she switched to 24 hrs darkness, then 24 hrs light(veg) for a day thereafter. She wasnt fucking asking you if you switch to 24 hrs dark or not

Thanks everyone, I appreciate most of the feedback!! I’ll definitely still be keeping an eye on things, but I feel a little more at ease..

I have had much better results doing the 24, opposed to just switching to 12/12 from 18/6. Maybe you should get in on the voodoo..lol
