Help please I ran out of PH Tester liquid today, and tomorrow I flush (noticed i was out of ph after filling the res up and getting it ready for tomorrow), the fucked up thing is tomorrow is Friday. If I order some tomorrow it will ship probably Monday, and get here probably on Thursday or Friday. I went to WALMART, K MART, LOWES, HOME DEPOT and all they had was ph test strips that only go down to 6.2 and I need to get it down to 5.6 so those strips will not help. What should I do? Is there any home remedies to test the PH?
Thx. Any advice at this point will be GREATLY APPRECIATED......

add little by little and see how much the ph drops with how much ph down you add. that should let you know how much you should add once the test strips aren't showing anymore. If your growing in soil then it doesn't have to be exact.

You're looking for calibration standards. You can get it in several different values; I usually get 7.0 to calibrate my meter. Make sure to wash your tip and keep it wet when storing it. They don't last long even with good care. If you're flushing tomorrow I'd say fuck it because they aren't going to be uptaking much anyway so I would just throw in what you normally would, maybe a little less to be on the safe side, and call it a day.

yes, im sure he means the calibration liquid.

perfect reason why you should know the Ph of your tap water. you can always use it for a reference point.

I do not think the op is looking for ph up or down or calibration fluid, He is probally looking for the red regeant drops used with a liquid ph test kit or a home made version of the drops?

Panama maybe this link will help?

I just bought a $25 meter off ebay, I used to think I was good at reading drops but I was way off

I wonder if you ran some warm water over your old meter it might come back to life.

I would also try ace hardware or a water company or pool/spa center in the area
Nope hot water, soap, bleach nothing brought it back, R.I.P it's gone. I will order another Meter and test kit, I am worried about this weekend. By the way the Meter I bought was $25 and it was yellow and u also need a calibration solution, now I'm going to order a $120 one so I won't have to go threw this again, also I find using a test ket with the meter works best because the meter is not 100% accurate. Thx for the links tho...
