if you do it right it should not get that far. the case should not be strong enough to proceed if there is no evidence other than the cop story. its rare that there is no evidence but certain things really dont have anything. with driving with no license, since there is no real "crime" aka injury loss or harm, there will be no evidence other than a cop story. what you would get is a "complaint" to go to court and if you know law they cant do shit. what if a cop who hated you wanted to bogus charge you just because. he even got a car like yours and a friend of his who looks like you. then he got it on cop cam. you fucked right? no because its still a cop story with no other evidence. laws like corpus delicti are for your protection. just like the policy innocent until proven guilty, the law has been debated and it has been found that it is better to let a guilty go than to trouble innocents. if they dont even have evidence just a cop story its not good enough. when somebody gets murdered and there is no body the person is called missing not murdered. to make the charge there has to be evidence aka the body to show a murder has occured. the cop just cant go screaming bloody murder with no evidence the chopped up body shows a murder happened independent of the cop story, so then they could investigate a murder. if you didnt do it the trial should set you free. cops cant just make up charges with no evidence, they try all the time, but if you know the law they cant really mess with you until injury loss or harm has occured. you didnt do it the trial should show that if the cops actually did a crime to frame you then they did a crime and the truth will come out. but they cant just throw charges around(they will but it wont hold up if you know your shit)
