i'm very lazy. i just use advanced nutes sensi bloom and grow, and some big bud and molasses or bud candy. for soil i use light warrior for seedlings/clones and ocean forest/perlite for the rest of the grow.
easy peasy.

Another reason why I don't like that stuff personally, although harmless the gnats they bug the shit out of me lol. That line from Kellogs you use seems to be a lot cleaner than their other products so you got me there but my choice would be to find a homemade source or DYI. My yields doubled when I started to source my own quality products. Smells and trichs are off the hook.

Just stay away from anything that contains "biosolids" which most of that stuff at home depot and lowes has.

hacker brought up one line from them that seemed ok but with those big companies who knows lol. I was just looking out for you guys cause we all live in the same state and have most of the same access to stuff. I mix many composts for more diversity. That is what you are aiming for

have you tried the "ecoscraps" compost yet headtreep? It's supposed to be carried by major retailers around town but I haven't heard any first hand accounts yet

cool. i wanted something with kush in it so i'm happy. i grew out all the querkle and orange crush and the querkle/doo doo dum. no hermies, my girls are treated like princesses.
i got one male querkle but it autoflowered and i killed it. i hate autoflowering genetics. i'm going to crack some of my old stuff and get a male or 2 to breed these things.

i'm going to let them run to 65 days and go from there. it's day 52 and a couple querkles are getting good color to their hairs but others are just starting to get some color. the querkles have the most trichs of the 3 genetics but the querkle/doo doo dum is the best smelling so far. not as strong as my faux malawi and cinderella but nice. if you get great fragrance from these, my stuff will put a big smile on your face. very fragrant on the vine, not so much once i cure them but as long as the high is there, i could care less about the smell.

It sounds like those strains will be right up your alley... I've done the querkle , kbxblueberry, thing a couple times, a few space jills and c99s... not my type of stuff doesn't knock me out enough unfortunately but many people I know like the sativas

cool. i'm looking forward to trying these out.

i like a good indica, but i like to keep a nice even buzz all day long, so i need sativa dominants or i'd be a zombie. my ex loved that heavy narcotic stuff. i never found a good genetic to grow but she'd buy some sometimes. after i took three naps one saturday, i put that stuff on the back burner.

i find that the sativa dominants take my mind off pain. i'd like to try some indicas and see what they do, but i've never found a good one in seed form. it's a balancing act between keeping the pain down and not taking a few naps a day.

Stuck on a Pre 98 bubba and a White Fire at the moment... both of them are sleepy time weed... though at the moment I'm trying to stay up for 36 hours to get my sleep schedule back to normal I am sorta wishing I had the sativa around ... The absolute strongest sleepy time weed I grew so far was Cataract kush by DNA genetics (OG Kush x La Conf), it's also great for the stomach and appetite

The only sativa I have in the garden is a white strawberry cough (the white x kk strawberry cough), which is still strong for the average smoker. I keep telling myself to monocrop the Wifi and really learn it, but I do enjoy the hunt as well. Next up some Irujkandi seeds by Ink

ecoscraps I have seen but have not tried. My mentor said to watch out for that one as it contains a lot of buzz words on the packaging. If I'm using commercial I would use bioflora fish and kelp 6 bucks a bag but there are some better quality homemade sources in craigslist.

i like clones as seeds are a pain, but i've lost clones. with seeds, i can always grow out some more.

i have a white fire clone in flower too. i forgot about that one. i tried a couple joints of it and it was the oddest high i can remember. it actually made me feel depressed. not stoned like a couch lock pot, sad like i was depressed about something. i'm a pretty happy guy so that was the oddest feeling to me. pot that makes me depressed? what chemical would do that? or perhaps i'm just odd.

i smoked less than 1/2 a joint and then smoked some of my stuff to make me smile again. i looked at the white fire like it was a bad thing but being a scientist at heart, i tried it again a few days later and it was ok. it didn't make me depressed but it was just an ok high. i'm looking forward to trying it again with a larger sample. i have a couple clones of it too.

i'd love to try the kush and the cough. i've bought so many genetics over the years but always passed on those for one reason or another.

and for the clowns who say pot doesn't help pain, without it, i can sit at the computer for 1/2 hour or so and then i'm just uncomfortable. with pot, i can sit at the computer for hours and not once think about pain.

Yah I'd say I've been somewhere in between a Zombie and a Human for the last few months..... I'm up about 15 LBs with the crohns bothering me less and less, which is pretty good considering I haven't weighed this much for 4 or 5 years now.

Oh, but that could also be attributable to the Volcano I got too.... thing literally melts you into the couch and tastes so amazing... I feel like it gets me hungry almost instantly too lol

i've found that i don't really need to smoke as much as i do. i just light up out of habit. have you tried smoking less to not be so zonked?

i just remembered i have 4 firecrackers with 1/2 gram each. i just need to bake them. i usually eat a gram but i'm going to do just 1/2 gram and see if that gets me anywhere. i have a new fondness for eating pot.

i'd love to get a volcano but i can't justify the expense. not yet anyway.

i have a bag type vape on my list of things to buy. there are some cheaper ones out there that i'm checking out. my wand vape is good but it's too hot on my throat so i have to use an ice bong to smoke with it. being lazy, it's a pain to set up.

i like a vape high a lot but to me, it's lighter than a joint high so it depends on my mood. i also use 1/3rd more pot to get to where i like to be when i use a vape.

I have some more tester beans for you next time we meet. As well as some more samples. I hope you have some for me as well the querkle has never had a great aroma on the plant but once dry, you should get fruity/hazy smells. To me it smells like a sweeter train wreck. The Doo Doo Dum querkle ( donkey shit) should smell amazing on the plant. Once off you will either get a blueberry dominant smell, or the un appealing "donkey shit" smell haha. The high and taste are great but the smell can be quite off putting. My buddy had his mom in town a few week ago, she went to the store for some things. When she came back home, she walked into the kitchen where my buddy had been breaking up bud to medicate. Her first comment, before seeing the bud, was, "John, it smells like shit in here....did one of your dogs shit in here?" funniest thing I have ever heard about my bud lol

The querkle should be awesome to breed. Has very good growth structure. Not as potent as I would like but a good grower for sure. Hit me up anytime brother, if you lost my number message me. Take care
