Fuck, I have an apartment showing

Fuck, I came home after a 10 hour work day to find a lovely notice stating that my apartment would be shown to someone in a few days. Luckily I haven't set up my shit yet, thank god. This puts a dampen on my plans obviously, my lease isn't up until fucking August and already this shit is happening, dammit all. This makes me reconsider my well thought out plans and everything. If this shit is going to be happening I may have to build a stealth grow cabinet which I can take to whichever apartment I live in next. Even then I'd have to vent the shit outta it to keep it cool. To tell the truth I would much rather have a house, haha. I mean you throw money away renting a place, at least with a crib you'd have some equity. I was a little paranoid even starting at first, now this to add to it. Its a decent place, nothing spectacular, its only an efficency. I'm working my ass off now, getting as many hours as I possibly can, marijuana doesn't make you lazy, it gives me hella motivation to get my own house as soon as I can, haha. Apartments are always going to be a problem it seems like. I just needed to vent, I know you guys would be appreciative, thanks.

I dont understand. If you are renting the apartment untill at least august. Why are they showing an occupied apartment to someone... Why dont they show the vacant one??

There were some cool ready made stealth grow boxes featured on one of marijuana mans grow shows a while back now.
I will find you a link and you can either copy its design if you want or buy one:blsmoke:

brah, there is a thing called 'renter's rights'! What satate do you live in, because I think these laws can change from state to state. Did you agree to let owners show Apt. anytime when you signed the lease? If you made some agreement on these lines, they have you by your "short hairs". But if signed nothing to that effect. I believe you have every right to tell them to "fuck off", and tell them to check you out in August!

Its actually a sub-let agreement. This means that I got a hella deal by taking over payments for the guy who was moving out. There is no vacant apartments available. Apartment availability is pretty tight in this town. August is a HUGE move in time for everyone, its insane watching everyone move all their shit out on the same day. Before August people come to find their apartments they will be living in. Aparently this guy is gung ho about beating the rush.

Usually landlords need to give a set time period notice-- like 24 hours. That's what it is where I live (I'm a landlord-- lol). OR the apartment can be entered for an emergency (leaking pipe or something) So for anyone who rents it's important to have a quick exit strategy for the grow. :)
Sorry your grow is postponed. :(

Me too, it really sucks. I was totally stoked about it. I have a guy I work with who's 30 and has never smoked weed before, crazy I know. He wants to try it and is helping me out with stuff. They gave me notice that it would be within a few days. I don't like the feeling of having to rush and have my stuff be put in jeapordy. My ultimate dream is to get a house out in the middle of nowhere. I don't wanna wait to find a girl to find me own house and everything, I wanna start asap. Until then I'm gonna see what kinda deals the salvation army has on cabinets and dressers. Its gonna be taken apart anyways to it doesn't matter how shitty it is.
