ok i am startng my final weeks flush today on my mango kush plant... i am running an ebb n flow under 400 w hps... i just went out and got 2 mangoes and i was going to slice one into 4ths and then set it in the water resivoir for the 1st 3 days.... then switch water and flush for 2 more days with just water... im adding the mango to try n flavor up the buds... my question to all of u experienced growers is.... will this be beneficial? do u think the acids from the mango will interfere with my buds?

i lanned on lettin mango soak in res for a few hours n then check ph levels b4 feeding to plants...

any advice???? apprerciate it!

if you use unsulfured molasses or CarboLoad it would be better. ive heard iof putting orange oils and lemon oils in the water but i havnt tried it.
So use at your own risk.
i use carboload and it works wonders.
looks like just sugar. its not and dont use sugar.

you can NOT flavor buds thru watering. :wall:

you could grow a "mango strain" though. i have sampled several that were spot on.

nicegrow... thanks alot... just got done using some molases yesterday.... but was told shouldnt flush with it... who knows.. im just afraid of the acidic levels...

fdd2black... i am growing a mango strain... thats the only reason i got mangoes.... the buds already smell nice and mango-ish.... was just thinkin mangos in the res may help a sweeter taste or smell....

and no you cannot flavor bud when watering but you can give it things to bring out its flavor. theres this stuff called sweet and idk what it has in it but its like liquid carboload. it makes your plant sweeter supposedly
oh and i dont see a big problem with flushing with it.

I was just givin an ebb & flow system but no directions,, I was givin net pots with a giant bag of those clay round rock thing.. never did anything but dirt mediums and I was wondering if you have any pics on your grow so I can kinda get the hang of this ebb & flow sys. If not what did you put your plants in when they were small,, and did you leave them in the same thing all the way thru???? Just askin.....:peace:

All sweetener products are absolute b.s. Even several people at my hydro store have told me that all it's good for is making your grow smell like the stuff. I've heard the pineapple rush floranectar is particularly pungent. And the only thing you're gonna get from putting mango in your res is moldy mangoes and a moldy res. maybe even root rot. I don't even use molasses because it tends to clog shit up. Anyway, just my 2 cents. Good luck.

you should use a mango blunt wrap while curing your buds
that will have a REAL effect on the smell and taste (from what i was told)

Carboload works. i've used it. i see the difference. i feel the difference. if you mix the molasses good it shouldnt.
