Hello! Little guys have only just started flowering a week maybe two ago I am now worried whether or not they will finish or have to face a very early chop, so my question is what can I do to help them along the way and give them the best possible chance of staying alive, finishing course and with a small as possible amount of mould.

I am aware of people building small tent like structures to shelter them From the elements however they are very much hiding in plain site and I believe this will scream come have a look at me so is there anyone who can give me some tips on this for an inexperienced person such as myself! Thanks a lot!

You could shelter them like you said ...and then maybe make another one or two as a disquise on your property . Put some trip wire out there or some booby traps that will make noise. Spray them with fungicide every 5 days or after it rains, then you wont have to worry so much about bud rot;)

I use Neem Oil all thru my grows to prevent bugs and molds, if you got mold was it out with warm water and 10% bleach, allow to wind dry

Thanks for the tips mate! Could that be used in a spray bottle when still on the plant or does it have to removed like in the video? And with neem oil does it need diluting or? ThNks again

Last year I got caught out bad, first time in 10 years actually, tho I was using Neem Oil , 1 teaspoon to a pint hand sprayer, fill with warm water shake and spray 2 times per day,
tho not to close to harvest, it offered good protection, so long as you apply it early enough = great defense.
But some colas did get mold damage, to save them, I wrapped the plant pot in a plastic trash bag, and dipped her in warm water and 10% bleach, I got fucking soaked but was worth it, it killed the mold instantly, and followed it up wit the Neem Oil, news for 2014 is Neem Oil is systemic the plant can drink it up, bad news for sap suckers tho, and is undetectable in the smoke!

good luck!

Your pal is totally correct, always some cutting is required, but that very action alone spreads another billion spores to the next branch in which you have to snip away at your babe again in another day or so, like a dog chasing its tail, you watch as your hard earned colas get smaller and smaller ..!, kill them all in the bleach bath, avoid smoking the mold, tho you can use it in oil or food, the bleach is the bitch! ..lol

1. Fuck up the taste A://no not at all ...tho avoid neem oil 2 weeks from harvest
2. Be harmful . A://Fucking up the spores is very easy, anything with a strong Ph will upset molds, avoid baking soda, I used it one year and it got everywhere , I tossed the plant ...never again stick to neem oil ...and ever be smart ..germ and harvest earlier!

Have any of you tried using heavily diluted milk? Heard very mixed reviews, would be lovely to hear it works though as I can be quite lazy and it would obviously be quite convenient

Given a choice of mold in food or smoke ...go for food, the mold/fungi volume has to be very high to cause any harm in food .. versus the fungi.mold in the lungs, like I got now is fucking terrible, is like a pneumonia, I got it last month from turning my organic soils over in a small shed, lazy me coulf not be bothered dragging the pots outside si did it inside and breathed a fucking bug in...this is NOT my pic

I never heard of any toker getting sick from eating moldy weed, as in most cases the cooking side of it, has killed any bugs and mold/fungi, but theres plenty of ways to get molds growing in your lungs !

Like you but many years ago I was in the same dilemma, milk or baking soda, so went one of each on both plants, the baking soda, went everywhere I tossed the plant..see above^^... the other I painted fresh milk on ...it stunk like fuck for days later, (it was an indoor grow) I tossed the plant...and decided to germ and harvest earlier, but that caught me out too, until I learn't of Neem Oil ...lol now I impart this too you ...good luck
