From Bagseed to Indica Meds

I have one plant from some so-so bagseed that has turned out to be the first plant I've ever flowered. She's 6 weeks from flip and probably 3-4 weeks from harvest. I also Have two seedlings a feminized Ice Bomb from bomb seeds and one DNA Connie Chung. They are a day old and I placed them straight into 12/12 from seed.eeh.jpg100_0482.jpg100_0483.jpg
WHen I do veg its under 100 watts/sq foot of Daylight CFL and I flower under a 150watt HPS inside a cool tube attached to an inine fan. My medium is soil and I use the lucas formula with Maxibloom up until a week before flower where I add liquid KoolBloom to the mix.

Cool stuff dude, you gonna keep updating?
Most definitely. I'm a member at another site but it seems to have much less traffic than this one. If anyone has any experience with defoliating sativas please chime in. I have been progressively defoliating my bagseed lady but I don't think I'll continue removing leaves. It seems to be slowing her down more than helping to open up bud sites.

Thanks I plan on not doing any more defoliation on any of the plants. Good news though. She's finally starting to develop a fine layer of trichomes. Seems like this should have already happened to a plant 6 weeks from flip compared to a lot of pictures of bud at 6 weeks Ive seen but maybe shes just behind because of the defoliating. The two seedlings are stretching a little much from me so I moved them about a foot from my hps where as before they were about 2.5 feet away.

The seedlings are still going to stretch probably, the light should be a couple inches away pretty sure
but then again dont think your supposed to raise seedlings with an hps anyways

Ok So in your opinion would it be less stress full A.to move the seedlings back into a veg cycle under daylight cfls
B. move them under daylight cfls on a 12/12 cycle or C. am I better off just leaving them where they are?

I think your best move would be to put the seedlings into a veg cycle under cfls yes, dont let them stretch and fall over and die.

I have completely stopped defoliating and my plant 47 days into flower seems to be recovering and bulking up nicely. I noticed today that only about 2% of the hairs are turning red. It kind of concerns me that so few are turning but I'm just gonna continue What I'm doing and start flush in about 5 days.photo 2 (1).jpg The Ice Bomb and Connie Chung seedlings are both doing well and developing their second set of leaves.

So the bagseed lady that I have flowering is 7 weeks in and swelling up nicely. I'm starting the flush in 2 days with 2 Tablespoons of molasses with pH'd water. The connie chung and ice bomb seedlings are doing well. I tested the run off pH of the seedlings and it was really acidic, like 5 so I flushed them with filtered water pH'd to 8 which then made the pH like 6(much better) I have a question though. Are the CFL's to close to the seedlings? They have their second set of leaves so I figures they could be close to the daylight cfls. Correct me if I'm wrong. image(4).jpgimage.jpg

I took a 49 day sample of the flowering plant and quick dryed it by putting it in a cardboard box with lots of silica gel packets and for 6 hours and then at 200 degreees for 20 minutes today to guage the readiness of this strain as it has an unknown finishing time. I It was pretty damn good. Definetly better than the weed it came out of.I still think I'm gonna flush for 10 days and chop 50% on valetines day and the rest a week later. The two seedlings appear to have been overwatered but in general are doing well.

SO i re-looked at the calender and turns out I was week behind. I harvested my lady at 60 days from the flip and yielded a little under 4 ounces wet probably like a zip dry of thick cola which as well as a bout 3 ounces of wet trim which was immediately decarbed and cannabutter was enjoyed. Buds are still drying in a brown paper bad with silica gel packets but all samples remind me very much of some pineapple haze I experienced up north. Primo shit! 1st grow complete.
