Fresh Breath not growing any buds

Hey folks,

Approximately two months ago one of my customers gave me some seeds in addition to his payment, as a Thank You for doing business with him.

The funny thing is, I just threw these seeds into my garden bed outside & they took off, whereas my first two attempts at growing Critical Kush indoors was a huge flop.

The packet that these seeds came in is labeled "Fresh Breath F1". Now I'm at the two month mark almost, and while I can definitely smell weed....I don't see any buds.

I'm not experienced in sexing cannabis plants, but I did find a couple of articles with photos & illustrations comparing both sexes & from what I can gather, they're both females.

So why am I not seeing buds yet? Here's a quick video I took of both the plants.

Flowering is connected to day length, so it’ll only bud a few months out of the year depending on where you live.

Last night the sun set at : 8:42 p.m. It rose at 6:06 a.m. this morning. That's just a pinch under 9 1/2 hours.

Yeah so you’ve got a few weeks yet. I think they start to flower when night is 10-11 hours.

Sounds like they’ll be monsters.
For a moment, I thought they were male plants but when I inspected them (see YouTube video link above) I couldn't find any signs of them being males (those little round balls weren't there). Maybe another month?

Males usually show sooner, so the longer you go with nothing the better.

I drove myself crazy looking for preflowers, by far the worst part of the grow. Waiting to see if all that time and training was for nothing o_O

Once the plant is about six weeks old you might see some. But they might only show up on one random node so you gotta check the whole thing really well.

Then if you spot them early you still have to wait like a week or two to know for sure. It’s brutal, I don’t think I’ll be using regular seeds again for a long time.

I'm a newb at all this (still). I've only tried two grows previously, but then I stopped for a couple of years. Anyways, from what I can tell Autoflower seeds are the easiest to grow because they go into flower mode automatically. But there's the notion that they're not as potent as feminized seeds. Then again....I've read articles that suggest that the newer strains of autoflower seeds are just as potent as feminized seeds.

Oh well, I'm in no rush. I've got all the time in the world to learn.

She is still vegging. She'll start flowering once she starts getting 11+hours of "night". In indoor growing this is referred to as "the flip" (the change from 18 on/ 6 off to 12/12 for flowering). This happens MUCH more gradually in outdoor growing. Patience, and keep doing what you're doing, they look good. As far as sexing? Need clear, stable pics of the joints of the fan leaves off of the central stalk

I'll take some more pictures later today. But for now, it's off to do some groceries. :p

So.....of my four plants, I ended up yanking this one out of the soil today, because I noticed these little balls/pods on the top of the plant.

Pretty sure it's a male. Can someone confirm?

So.....thought I'd post an update on my Fresh Breath.

It's one month later & my plants have doubled (approximately) in height. One thing that continues to baffle me is why I can't find information on this strain.

I'm wondering if it's possibly a foreign (to North America) strain or some type of undocumented strain???

Can anyone provide me with information on this strain???
