man 5 years federal time,,that means he's going to do all five. What a fucking joke to go to that much work to get him...like he's a terrorism suspect or whatever.

In my area, a guy got 6 years state time(so he'll be out in 3) for having a rental house with an entire grow in it.

So when you make comparisons, technically a marc emery type person(by the view of the courts) is fueling a growers needs...so shouldn't they get more time? .....i dunno, just seems out of wack.

Society, someday, is going to look back on recorded history and think we were barbarians because we lock people up for plants. Kinda like how we think it was barbaric to burn people at the steak becauses we thought they were witches.

i thought he plead guilty finally.

at first i was sympothetic to his cause but as i found more details i swang the other way. seriouly, if you tell a us dea agent to buy seeds and sneak them across the border in a water bottle safe its not smart, its really not smart to do it more than once.

he gets 5 years, thats not so bad compared to what he could have gotton. from the article i read in the newest weed world his layer basicly said your shit outta luck if you think canada will block your extradition. canada has never blocked and there have been extraditions by far more symopthetic causes. he will come out of it all right, its not like hes a child preditor or anything. he might take it up the ass but at least he wont get a shank to the temple.

Much respect for Marc, he stood up to the man. Only thing is that he took it too far and dissed the head of the DEA when they were in Vancouver. Very disappointed in Canada cowtowing to the US.
