Free grow pots and buckets!

Just a reminder for those who have forgotten and for the newbs especially... Save yourself some money on pots and buckets by heading to your local grocery store's bakery section. They almost always have empty 3-5 gallon icing buckets on hand that they are willing to give away. They are food safe buckets, therefore they will release no chemicals that may harm your plants. Drill a few holes in the bottom, and use the tops to keep it clean underneath them. Just got 4 more 3.5 gallon buckets from Publix today!

considering i work in a gerocery store and we have piles of them laying around im going to ask for a few. and plus we need some for our fryer.

I got the deli at Ingles saving me some containers, they told me they would spray them out for me too. I'm picking them up Wednesday. I'll have to call the bakery tomorrow and see about those icing buckets. Thanks for the tip!

Wal-mart usually has deeper rectangle ones that are 5 gal. I like those better because you can fit more plants in an area, but I'll take what I can get

I literally just fell back on the couch kicking my feet and laughing imagining the two people in your picture with the bird on their shoulder stealing flower pots in a cemetary, and running then diving into the car. "GOGOGO!!!! WE'VE GOT THE BUCKETS!"... I think my morning smoke has got me loopy today

Yeah, the chick with the bayonet and guy with the bird are on Imsogangsta - is where I found it originally, and appears I wasn't the only one to catch the circulation of the pic.

Yea i only took those pots because they were 2 matching 7 gal pots and would have been 7 dollars in the store.

I've seen a few people on fb posting things from it. I gotta check it out for myself. I'm planning on lmao all day long. The girl is at work and I got a fresh bag =D
