all fast food restaurants have value meal coupons. These coupons can only be obtained from the shift manager.

heres how you befriend the manager:
call the restaurant and ask to speak to the manager. you simply explain while using the drive thru you have been shorted in someway(and this isn't the first time they've done so) I like to use apple pies where missing and or diet coke when I asked for other, cold fries, wrong ingredients and they charged you for, the bullshit is endless.
Try and space it out, timelines too.

my natural born enemy is the cable companies......
I think this is common knowledge.
Make the call to a rep.
reasons: your done with cable and your calling to cancel.

One of two things will happen.
1) they put you on hold and you wait for a sales rep. (2) the rep on the line, is the sales rep, and the game begins.
The first thing the cable rep wants to know, is why are you canceling today.
reasons: bill is way to high and you can get a better deal from their competitor.
The reps get a small commission for keeping you aboard, just remember that. They will come back at you with a counter offer, but stay steadfast, while not going over board. The last thing these reps are trained to do is hang up losing a customer. I was able to get 20% knocked off and free hbo for a yr, from one simple phone call.

good advice man I did the same thing with my cellphone plan, but i actually did want to cancel it. They gave me such a good deal i couldent refuse!

so what happens with the fast food? how do you actually get the food you have to go in right after you call in or what?

it's a coupon signed by the manager, you can pick it up whenever. they put it into an envelope with your name on it.

Ive personally never showed right up after making the call.

Or, with dial-up pizzas come in, pay for your order then leave. Come back 5 minutes later and bring your pizzas with you untouched. Say you have been given the wrong flavor , and demand a replacement. Because they can't take back food that has left their premises, and it (looks) like it was a mistake on their part, you get to keep the one you already paid for + a new one of the flavor you supposedly ordered in the first place. Has worked for me a few times with Dominoes.
