Freaking THRIPS!!!

:wall: SO pissed off right now! I bought these (recommended) clones for my first grow and they came with white flies. Got rid of those and just caught the fastest infection of thrips I've ever heard of - one day all is well and the babies are happy (just starting to bud). 2 days later and the bastards are all over 3 plants! I only had 8 to start with. 2 more are looking minor infected. Questions:
If I bomb the whole place with pyrethrum fogger will it kill these creeps?
Also have gnats I think. Will this kill them?
Saw a little bastard crawling in the soil & heard mosquito bait will convince soil dwelling pests to partake of lovely poisons. Anyone tried this?
AAARRRRGGGHHH!

IF you bomb it will only kill anything above the soil. IT WILL NOT KILL ANY LARVAE THAT ARE IN YOUR MEDIUM.

I always recommend 1 product for most pests. SPINOSAD. I use CONSERVER NATURALYTE it is a spinosad based product. OMRI listed. It is a bacterium very similar to BT that you mentioned.

This will also kill any larvae in your medium aswell as any adults on your plants.

I cannot get CONSERVE NATURALYTE in the UK and have to order it from the USA and the airfair costs twice as much as the CONSERVE NATURALYTE itself, but its worth every penny!!!!!

I use AVID for thrips have been for many many years. Just had a indoor outbreak at the hydroponics site 6 dayd ago did my routine not one sign of them. Spray the plant down after light off. Wait 3 days do it again and your good. 110% they will not come back. It screws with there digestive system so they stop eating :)

Dont use Avid for thrips. Avid is mainly a miticide, and miticides are the some of the most toxic pesticides to humans aside from broad-spectrum insecticides like Lannate. Spinosad is the product of choice for thrips. I eliminated an infestation with one application. You can also find it OMRI listed, so it is organic.
