And hopefully you layered the ice and the material in about 1/8th ratios and left about the last 1/8 open inside the bag too right?

Wel
I'll be smoking the darker stuff straight lol.
if the quality good enough, that range will full melt like wax in some cases.
Well if it's full melt, then it melts fully... Lol. All just a matter of if it comes out well enough. what brand are the bags?
I'm so skeptical of whether the types of silk screen used are truly as massive of a difference in quality as some people claim they are.

That's already crumbly. How many days has it been drying now?
Drying trick i read about. You kinda press it out into like a sugar/sand consistency then press it into your pucks after it dries like that. Going to do some like this and some in pucks and compare.
I forgot to take pics of the whole clumps, ill get some from the batch thats going now.

Plenty of ice layering. I went and bought 80lbs of ice for this lol.
I've read that some strains just don't like to melt all the way.
Bags are grow sun. Spent a few hours reading reviews of various brands and people seem to love these for some reason.
I have a 220 in the machine.
Using a 190 trash catch then doing 160 90 45. Mostly just curious to see the difference with the 160.
Like I said, just playing around trying different things.
I don't take anyone's tips or advice as fact, I gotta experiment to see what I like.

if you do it like Frenchy, he spends a TON of time doing his washes. but he sells his product and it wins awards so he puts more effort than I do.

my Tera V3 vape does bubble really nice at 500F. i still think a good chunk layered in a bowl with weed on top and bottom is my fave

The single 15 after a good soak like you said seemed to pull a majority of it. I ran another 15 just for curiosity and to make sure I didn't overstuffed the bag and I didn't get much out of that one.

i think the soak is more impt than most people think. and i agree, i think one good 15 min wash got almost everything for my stuff too.

Ive seen some really cool screen pipes specifically meant for hash. you have one of them?
I have a few different things I could throw a screen in but I want to get a new piece for this.
i just use a cheap o glass bowl. no screen.
or the vape.

i think you should find a really old school pipe like this:

So all done with what I wanted to get done. Played around a lot.
So all in all I ran around 2 lbs of "trim" and shitty looking buds. Was pretty bud heavy material.
Then around 3/4 of a pound of the ground up "b grade" buds.
This seems like a lot.

First pic is 45-90
Second pic 90-160
Third pic 160-190
Nice work, looks tasty. I ran bubble late winter, it’s long gone unfortunately.

Bubble for daaaayyyysss. buy a simple USB microscope so you can screenshot some close ups of how clean it is! I personally would have separated every single bag separately.
This is some dry sift using 4 screens.

i didnt really see the point. 1 to smoke, 1 to cook with, 1 to gift. Didnt see a need to break it down further.
I didnt even think about that. Ill have to grab my scope in a bit and see if i can get a pic

Seedling things.

The 3 i managed to not kill are doing well. Not much going on up top except the 1 DHP. Root growth on all of them has been going great though. I expect the other 2 to take off soon.
Going to try to log traits of specific plants through this and maybe find some nice growers. Surviving my mistake is already a positive trait, weed out the weakling phenos LOL.

Since I only ended up with 1 TFV2, I went ahead and dropped 2 more of that a few days ago.
Also dropped 3 Sunshine Kush, 2 of tbose have sprouted very strong as well. 3rd looks like a dud so far.
Will pop these into the cloner in another 2-4 days depending.
I flushed my media a bit and seems to have helped a bit. With the last ones I was concerned about buildup in the media since I've used it a few times. That or the better environment with the cloner running and no heat mat has made these seem much healthier than the last set.
