What is open sesame, beastie bloomz, and cha ching? they are all on the fox farm feeding schedule. Anyone rec those?
So if I follow the FF feeding schedule, and add nitrex, and PH down (my PH is 7.5, is that good or is there anything else I can do to help them grow faster or bigger? I want to yeild as much as possible, and I want good bud. But dont we all!!!!
Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, and Cha Ching are supplemental soluble nutrients. Personally, I think they are unnecessary if you are using GrowBig, BigBloom, and TigerBloom properly. Also,
Nitrex is completely unnecessary unless you have a serious nitrogen deficiency. Again, if you are properly using GrowBig there will be no problems as GrowBig contains sufficient amounts of nitrogen for optimum growth.
After you add the nutrients to your water, check your PH and adjust it down to about 6.3 using PH-Down, vinegar, or lemon juice (I use vinegar).
Obviously you need to factor in proper lighting, temperature, and humidity to get the best results. But if you do all this the right way, creating a soild feeding solution appropriate to the current growth phase you are in (veg or flowering), you will get excellent results. You should measure your success by figuring out how many dried, finished grams of bud you are getting per watt of lighting. If you are getting 1g of finished bud per watt, then you've done a fantastic job. Most growers I know end up with between 1/2g - 1g per watt after they've been through the process a few times and understand everything that goes into producing a great crop. If this is your first grow, you may only end up with 1/4g per watt or even less. But don't be discouraged - better results come with experience and, depending on the strain you are growing and all things considered, trial and error.
