fox tailing??

Can some one tell me what the heck fox tailing is? And is it good or bad cause it seems that my plant has fox tailed.

For bag appeal, not so good. I like them myself though. When it is cured, I just break a foxtail off and smoke it.

Its when the calyx's stack on top of each other without much outward growth.
It makes the bud look like this View attachment 2684108

It can be caused by high heat.
It is also a trait of some strains.
Agree with the above poster dose not look the best but its just as good as the rest of the bud on the plant. And a little piece of a foxtail fills a bowl nicely.

i couldn't have said it better. it's partially genetic and partially environmental. however nobody complains once they've smoked it.

Yes, some strains are more prone to it than others.

Google SSSDH Shire cut. Should be plenty of pictures.
