I tend to agree with both of you.

What I find noteworthy is that the old big three over the air networks have been now rendered into relative insignificance.
NBC, ABC and CBS were the be all and end all of broadcast news...now it seems that they simply do not matter.
Brian Williams may have expedited this trend.

Big but...there are no right wing topical comedy shows in existence that I am aware of?

Best news is from international. Everything in the United States is available for a price including the news

Another example, do a simple search on "officers arrested" or "deputy arrested." Most major networks have been talking all day about various cops going to jail, pick your network. Big cop Sex assault case in process. Absolutely nothing on Fox ever want to comes to cops transgressions

The best representation of Fox news is satyre, look up snl fox news skit. As much as they exaggerate in the skits, there is some truth to it

When the real credible news casters retired it all went to shit.

It started going down hill in the 60's when tabloid news started popping up.

Then there are online news outlets that are credible but you can't tell them apart from the satyre ones and the conspiracy ones.

It's easy to make shit up. It's not easy for some to report the facts, and FOX does it well.

There is no objective source for unfiltered news, broadcast and print and internet sources all included.

NBC can suck balls right up there with Fox on occasion. No doubt. And that shit gets old also

I would have to strongly vote for Fox being far more obvious and therefore annoying with their pandering. And more withholding of news that hurts their base.

Look at the associated content on their news homepage. Tits and guns. Always celebrity cleavage and military might.
