Forcing outdoor flower

So I have some afgooey seeds, I'm thinking of starting these girls inside and moving them to 10 gallon pots to place into back yard. My question is, if I move that pot into a completely dark space and force a 12 hour light 12 dark would my plant flower then? Even though its getting its sunlight for arguments sake in July? I'm looking to essentially to try and get two outdoor harvest. I have a shed that she will go into for the dark period. Any help would be GReATLY appreciated.

yep, that'll work. as long as they stay pitch dark for 12 hours, they will flower, no matter whether they're getting july sun or march sun or october sun.

If you're on an 18/6 schedule indoors your plants will start to flower no matter what time of year you move them outside. I do this all year long from Mar til September..

Mr m, I'd be moving it from a vegetable garden into a shed 3 feet away. Say that I do this move twice a day same time everyday, everything would be good, right? And what is a pita?

My plan is to keep her inside until mid may, I'm in the south, the place her outside to veg for a few weeks then start the flower by bringing her inside. I need to keep her nice and short that's one of the reasons I'm going to make her flower. I need her to be no taller than 4 feet, it will keep her hidden under this. I've started mainlining her, courtesy of nugbuckets, and I will be topping her as well. So I'm hoping for a nice round 3 foot tall bush. Pics will come as I start everything up.

That would be a big "Pain In The Ass" to have to move them twice a day every day, and if you happen to get an accidental couch lock one day and its all messed up.
What you could do is build a PVC tenting frame with a black out breathable shade that you close every day and give them an hour of artificial Far Red Lighting at the eod using led spots. Hook a timer and motor to automate ... I have seen photos on the internet of greenhouse ops that do this to force flowering in short day plants under long days.

Yeah a tent of some sort would be easier. What type of material is comenly used? And the reason I'd be moving it is because I'm trying to get her started and finished as quick as possible, I don't want her outside any longer than she has to be, not being rushed of course. I'm in a location that we will call, sketchy at best. That's why I'm hoping this afghani dominant strain will be a small bush with more of a fruity aroma instead of a skunky one. I know the seeds are good, they are from a club in Colorado. Like I said I'm going to catalogue my grow and we will see what happens.

dunno never did it myself. another way would be to raise it as an indoor mobile plant and move it outside when you know you will Awake and Alert to move it back inside.

ok so i am new at this but have a good understanding of the basics. i have a plant that started in late feb it is curentley about 8'' tall right now. These were bag seeds from a particularley nice batch of reg i had. any how i wanted to send it into flower in about 2 weeks the reason i am waithing is to ensure that it is mature enough to do this. now my question to you is how long do i have to maintain the 12/12 cycle? would it be till it starts to flower? or all the way through the flowering cycle? also i have a question about pollen can pollen from other plants i.e. pine trees efect my little one?

You would need to keep the 12/12 cycle from the time you want to put it into flowering till it completes flowering. This will depend on what strain you are growing. If it's a indica, it will finish alot quicker than if its a sativa.
Every year I start some inside then move them outside to veg longer and flower. Normally july 1 I'll start covering a couple to finnish a little earlier. I also do this for some of the longer sativa strains I like. They don't like to finish till late oct. or beginning of nov. it's way to bad of weather here to risk not getting them to finnish around the begining of oct.

it would be easier to cover it with a big shipping box from lowes or tarp canvas. over a frame then move a plant in a big container like that...

thank you for the feed back, that helps clear things up. also i am sure about 99.9% she is an indica very broad leaves not so narrow like the sativas i have seen, or atleast sativas dominant plants. But this brings me to my next question what about all the pollen in the air right now she hasnt shown signs of a sex yet so im assumeing she should be okay but iv reald some things in the forums recentley that has caused a little concern and that is the fact that we have all this pollen in the air can this effect my girl in any way? any viable feed back would be awsome thank you.
