Say I had a plant in a pot that I'd like to flower, and naturally it didn't flower until late Janurary, could I force it to flower earlier by mimicing night a little earlier each day (i.e take the plant inside after ~12 hours of sunlight)?

What do u guys think?

When you bring it in , after getting 12 hours of sunlight , you need to put it in a total black out room for the next 12 hours.
