For you vet growers

Ok so i was thinking about something the other day about growth. I have done my fair share of growing of all types of plants from MJ to roses and everything in between. Some have been easier than others and vise versa.

My question for you is this. In your years of experience do you believe that MJ is the toughest plant to grow indoors? I my self do not see it this way at all as i can make them grow with a 99% perfection rate. How ever i have come across a few species of plants that have proven rather difficult to grow.

So is it just the Ora of the plant and the mystery of it, or do you see it as that tough?

Fire away lets debate!

Orchids are tougher to grow. They're not necessarily hard to keep alive, but it's hard to get them to bloom. Since there are 26,000 varieties, many of them need to be treated differently and many won't bloom unless they're in the perfect conditions for that specific species.

Toughest part is cutting through the BS gimmicks, just stick to the basics.

the plant is simple to grow, not too hard to successfully flower, but takes a great deal of patience to master.

its a weed... it grows wild; all over the world! left to its own devices its a pretty hard plant to kill.
as far as a hard plant to grow- try some of these:

anything carnivorous (venus flytraps, sundews, pitcher plants)
tropical ferns (good luck with that one... they like waterfalls and very high humidity)
begonias (very hard)

i have heard this and am almost tempted. They are a pretty flower too. But i may hold off a while as i still have a few kinks of my own to work out first.

I agree i see that it is easy to grow, and like you said it is a weed and has a good survival rate given the right conditions. I have often thought about growing fly traps but like the fern it like humidity as well.
