Tough to grow outdoors right now down here, with the heat and afternoon thunder storms. I'm 100% inside now. In the fall, I'll take my next grow back outside.

I have one female outdoors right now, and sad part is, she is doing 10X better then my one inside! But thats my fault! I'm sure they will both end up just fine. My outdoor female is only a little over a foot but she's stubborn enough to stay rooted and not over-watered, even with the horrible storms we have been having. my whole yard has huge puddles in it, I have 2.2 acres and in the back yard, my plot is the only thing close to being dry. I chose the plots location because it was the highest point in my yard. Only a few inches (maybe 5-6 inches) higher, but when that raiin comes, 5 inches can mean life or death! And the heat! She is going kind of slow, But is producing a great amount of hairs!

2.2 acres! Sweet! I have a few plants scattered all over my yard, if I had that kind of space. I don't plant my plants in the ground, I plant in pots so I can move them around as necessary. If a hurricane rolls through, kiss your plants bye bye.

Unfortuantly no trees in my 2.2 :( So, basically the place I have chosen is also one of the very few places you can't see from any angle on the streets.

LOL. I won't ever risk growing on a big scale. I'd say 6-8 plants is my max. Anything beyond that is risking discovery. Remember, I'm growing for personal use.

Yeah I'm not going to have a field of the stuff, probably the same as you....6-8 plants for personal. I can't even grow 1 right now and that is why I'm jealous:blsmoke:

I don't know if it was here or another site but I saw this one plant operation where a guy basically took 2 buckets - looked like 5 galloners and put one on top the other to form a minature grow-room. He installed a 150W HPS and exhaust fan and had one impressive looking plant in there. It fit into a 1'X1'X3' space he had in a hall closet. Maybe you should check that out.

Any idea where to find this?

Dude, I have no idea now where that post was, sorry. The concept is easy though. Put 1 bucket upside down ontop the other. Cut a hole for your light on the top bucket (cutting the a circle in the bottom of the upside down bucket). Cut a hole in the side of the top bucket (so it will have 2 holes) to install your exhaust fan. The biggest issue is how you keep the buckets together and not have the top one slide off. You'll want access to the plant and not seal it in there. You have several options there.

Anytime, bud. Good luck with that. With CFLs, you can do this for about $50 and that's including you exhaust fan.
