Is it a bad idea to foliage feed seedlings, as long as I used some sort of soap in there so not to create hot spots?

only reason .. is if you have low humidity (less then 30%)

then mist them in the morning/fist light .. underneed the leaves .. useing a water agent is a good idea .. wet betty is nice .. I use Yucca ..

nutriens schoulndt be nesseary for a small seedling .. soil schould keep enough .. also .. I believe foilie feeding is when you spot a deficiency .. nutriens is surpose to go in to the soil .. or be in ther allready ..

if your concern about hot spots ? (only if you useing a MH) then let the plants dry off a bit before placeing them under the light agin .. and/or keep the light father away for fist 30 minuts or so ..

wrong .. the water the plant get through the leaves with help a small seedling with a tiny root net ..

I do mist .. under the leaves .. fist week or so .. just clean room temperatet rain water with a drop of Yucca .. to help em on .. also as I got 35-40% RH

i just generously spray around the inside of the humidity dome. that should eliminate worries of spraying the plant cause it should join the air and get to the leaves eventually.
