I started using Advanced Nutrients Nirvana as a foliar feed. I was wondering when I foliar feed do I adjust the ph of the water im feeding and is so to what level?

Hellloo Bud Man...short and safe answer is Yes, PH the water in the spray bottle before applying. Set the pH between 5.5-6.2, a normal reading for a hydro setup or for foliar feeding. Its all about adjusting the pH so the nutrients can be taken up by the plant.

That all being said...Advanced Nutrients is known for claiming to be "pH and PPM Perfect" and I don't know if that applies to Nirvana and/or if it applies to foliar feeding. Which again, is why I said the safe answer is YES...as in, setting the pH won't hurt your AN Nirvana and it could only really help.

Hope that helps!

i never do.
One should consider other people's situations and not just their own before hinting at or making suggestions. For one obvious example...we don't know yours or his water qualities. You telling him that you don't pH your foliar feeding bottles, how does help him? I'm not trying to be disrespectful or having a go at you cuz I'm sure you're trying to help....are you guys starting with the exact same water?

PROVIDE SOME DETAILS so the novice grower isn't lead to believe "oh, well mongo doesn't pH his foliar feeding bottles, so that means I don't have to"...because that isn't necessarily true and statements like such are unhelpful....but damn I love boxers.

Hey Dipsomaniac420 thanks good info. AN is actually Ph perfect. When I mix my nutes im always around 6.2-6.3. Im going to test the Nirvana alone and see if its there. Im in soil by the way.

I'm not sure if the pH Perfect thing was designed for foliar feeding. It should be fine but until you're sure if it does (or doesn't) the smart move is to check it first.
