i was wondering what it would be ok to use during flower to foliar feed one of my plants has some skinny leaves at the top now for some reason but also my humidity is low so i wanted to foliar feed tonight or tomorow while lights were off i was thinking maybe some sm90 in the mix because i was told it would help the plants absorb more water and whatever else i put in the mix any help much appreciated please oh and any advice on how to make sure my buds swell up nicely there lookin nice right now but no where near what i want i know its still early but idk its my first grow and im nervouse i think. thanks again will post pics once i find my camera i think everyone will like some bud porn from these 4.5 feet tall true sour diesel from nyc to bad they dont have pictures that can capture smell

If you don't have humidity problems I don't think you could really foliar feed too much. Even just PHed water, make it rain!

I highly suggest you do not foliar feed during flowering. Especially on leaves coming out of budz. Pretty much everything I have ever read on this subject warns against it. Molds, funguses etc. You can put a pail of water in the grow area that will aid the humidity. Or use a humidifier, you can get them pretty cheaply.

Well if your humidity problem is that it's too low misting is an excellent treatment.
alright thanks usually when do the buds start to swell up i wish i could find my camera everytime i find it my girl loses it again. im using the GH floranova expert drain to waste program is there any products like humbolts countrys own snow storm or purple max i could mix in the feeding program to help make sure i get the best out of my plants or will the products im already using give me great results i just have read some good things about purple maxx and (i wanna say snow storm but i may be wrong) doing good things to sour diesel crosses

I hate to disagree my friend. Misting and foliar feeding are fine for aiding leaf moisture in veg. The OP is 4 weeks into flower and has budz. With little or no humidity the water is gonna penetrate the budz and sit there until it causes mold issues.

Bud size will really start to plump very soon for you. Usually around 5 weeks or so depending on strain and growing conditions.
i think i will stay away from sprayin my plants since they are flowering and i do not want to make them taste bad or mold up on me ive gone this far vegged them since july 4th started flowering about 4-5 weeks ago there looking good but the plants being huge and all i thought maybe the buds would be bigger but like with growing mushrooms im sure patience is key

Fyi,foliar feeding durring dark period does very little for the plant,foliar feeding is much more usefull & productive durring daylight hours.
If you want foliar feeding to give good results feed the plants at the very start of lights on,the lights off myth is a newb myth not fact,spray plants extremely heavy & soak the shit out of them,keep them wet with fresh sprays for a half hour or so,repeat every day for 5 to 7 days.
For nutes you want P & K for bud building,you can use whatever brand you have & mix at a minimum of 500 PPM & depending on how high ppm you feed the plants you can go as high as 700 or 800 ppm with zero burn,i regulary foliar treat my plants in winter time with 800 to 1,000 ppm mix durring lights on,just make sure you raise the lights far enough not to burn leaves or buds,you can lower the light a little bit every day till its in normal position.
With foliar feeding results are not over night & it takes multiple feedings at a decently high strength nute ratio to make any difference at all,common newb mistakes with foliar feeding are caused by fear of hurting the plant,so they feed durring lights off ( mistake ) they feed extremely low ppm ( mistake ) they only feed lightly & dont soak the plant ( mistake ) & they dont feed enough times (mistake ).
If you want it to have bud swelling results ive outlined the way to get real results,being overly cautious will give poor results,its extremely hard to over foliar feed.

mold is definitely an issue in flowering, but at 20% humidity it's not a great risk. I would agree however I would stick to the leaves and not the buds and maintain good airflow.
the only problem i would have with that is to raise my lights higher i would have to cut a whole in the ceiling and if i have to i will but im tryin to steer away from that with tieing down and bending slightly i vegged myplants to long using them as mothers and after 50+ successfull clones with only like 5 that didnt make it i was overwhelmed with clones so many with not so much room for them seperate from the mothers had to flower the moms and get rid of alot of clones thanks for the info will deffinately write it down and perhaps give it a try if not i have 4 strains i ordered from nirvana white widow, wonder woman, AI, bubblelicious i will try with them for sure since there not so damn tall plus in a different room
