I mixed rubbing alcohol half a bottle with one gallon of water with hot sauce to kill my spidermites,, the night day my leaves were looking sick,, the next four days 30 to 35 percent of my big fan leaves fell off or are crunching, or are loose to the pull. i took them off. iam at 4 weeks into flowering my nyc deisal... it still has some good fan leaves.. as you can see its a monster but my nuggs are so small and the plant is gooing through stress for sure i suffocated the leafs.. i bought neem oil for the mites, thats what i should have done in the begining .. anywase should i revert my plant to 16 hours for 3 weeks and then flower again or should i just keep going and no turning back... each colla has like half a gram or one gram on every cola.. its about 4 weeks or 5 into flowering.. iam an idiot.. i read that rubbing alcohol sufficates the mites, but i didnt read the dilution of only 2 teaspoons per gallon i mixed 50 percent..anywase to revert or not to revert or keep going and buy more clones for this fuk up:-| iam using suoer thrive tiger bloom and 0-35-50 bloom cha ching and i mixed a little guana for nitrigen in the mix every feeding.. ph is yellow wich is like 5.5

learn from your mistakes, start over. five weeks into flower and you want to revert? not a good idea imo... remember to take preventative measures, keep you room extremely clean and you won't have problems. so yeah, personally i would just finish the plant and start all over, there's no need to waste time revegging a plant that is that damaged.. btw, are you growing in hydro b/c 5.5 is low otherwise

coco soil with excellent drainage.. to good drainage i have to add ph up chemical raiser to raise it to 5.5 6.5 so its like soil coco and i guess i will just have to finish it.. dam this sucks... its amazing those dam spidermites before my lights go out they hide!!! basterds, iam checking my plant right now and thare is several black eggs on some leaves with an occasional black king spider(small) no webs.. i will neem oil it after lights are of and in the morning before lights, man this nyc deisal stinks like lemons... iam soo aggravated.. i just put two 1 foot plant clones beside my mess up plant.. 1 og kush and 1 og biker kush.. after the 12 hours of light i will move my two clones out my closet to a corner of my room with a 100 watt light bulb hanging above them to keep em veging untill they reach 16 hours so another 4 hours after there taken out of the closet,, i want them 2 feet tall before i flower my kush... since kush harvest is always low i extra veg.. sounds like a good idea

to be honest superthrive isn't for that purpose, it isn't a fertilizer, although it is what plants make on their own, ie, it's an extra blast of what the plant is already making internally. you need a fertilizer with an NPK value, specifically one high in P to increase bud formation, you can also add a product like AN's carboload as a flowering additive

well, for future reference earthworm castings tea is said to kill spider mites, I don't know that its true or not but I've been foliar spraying my plants with it for a couple weeks , not that I have mites but I thought I had some sort of rust fungus and the same article said EWC tea is good for curing rust fungus too.

yeah, don't use baking soda. esp. if you have pH up, do you have a pH meter? if so maybe add increments of 1ml per gal. until you find the pH value desired. also, i don't think tiger bloom is that ratio, if i remember correctly it's actually 2-8-4.. either way

It looks like normal spidermite damage. The leafs rapidly fall off from them sucking juices out. Its really a pain in the ass to keep the plant alive. Smashing the little fuckers helps iliminate them and if you see webs destroy it.

Better yet bud candy....Best of all, you're getting two products in one because Bud Candy gives you everything in Sweet Leaf and CarboLoad, but it also gives you a lot more in an easy to use formula.

I think it's a good idea to just stop what you're doing and start over.

I've always found that spider mites are from poor growing conditions. Did you clean everything really well when you were getting started?

Or did you possible cross contaminate after being in a garden? While spider mites do happen, they are also easy to prevent with some basic cleaning and sterilization. You need to have clean hands when you're in the room and you need to keep the room as clean as possible.

And if you have friends over, they need to wash up too.

Eh, you do live and learn, but it still sucks nuts to have to learn this way.

:peace:
