Flushing?

My critical 2.0 is half way through week 8 and to me me, they look about done. I wanted toflush for 2 weeks at the end of this week but they are already going brown and dying in places due to pests. I want to leave them a bit longer but I don't want to loose the any more of the crop. Is it really important to flush? How little flushing can I get a way with?

Everyone is gonna give you their own perspective on how to grow... what chem to use... how to cure... flush or not to flush... pull fan leaves... blah blah blah. Take whatever you can from us that comment and figure out your own system and what works for you @spyderaz

Flushing gets rid of the chem taste that still lingers. Different strokes for different folks. And we know it's not a toilet dumbass @Kerovan
Flushing doesn't get rid of any chemical taste because there is no chemical taste to begin with unless you are spraying chemicals directly onto the buds. And there is no need to be an ass with your reply. All flushing does is drown the roots and waste water.

Waste water... drown the plants. That all sounds like shit. I keep my pots wet during flower. Yours are drowning because your root systems suck

Let me remind you again it's just my opinion. That's how I grow. So I'm just giving the thread MY input. Some flush. Some don't. Some do coco. Some do soil. Indoor. Outdoor. Etc... most of the people on RIU have small grows. I grow on a larger scale. Again. We will all have a differ perspective on how and what to do

I'd flush and wait a week minimum, I like my plants 2 use up everything they got before I pick em.
But if your crops at risk u may have to make a judgement call.

Flushing is a personal choice thing. Some people swear by it & some people say its pants. That aside the Critical 2.0 is meant to be a 7 week strain. My Critical 2.0 are actually ready to go at the end of 6 weeks.
I don't think you'll do yourself any favours keeping it going another 2 weeks just to flush it. Chop it & if you like it, grow it again & plan to flush sooner if you really want to flush.
