Flushing

Ok
What is the proper way to flush a plant? I'd like to do it with only water if possible.
I'll ask this differently.... how many gallons of water do I need to put into my 7 gallon pots per day to properly flush them? Also does one still need to follow a light schedule while it's being flushed? How many days should one flush? Should one flush daily? Twice a day? Every other day?

7gallon x 20gallon = 140gallons of water per day for 2 weeks. That's a proper flush

Use the same amount of water you always do, just don't add any nutes. And don't call it flushing. Call it watering. Your plant will tell you if it needs food or not the last couple of weeks. But you don;t want it to be hungry when it's putting on the most weight.

If you have been using half strength nutes all along, use 1/4 strength nutes the last two weeks.

Why can't a person call it "flushing"? Isn't that what's happening?

Nope! "Flushing" doesn't do a damn thing
Gotta call bullshit here,

You cant flush nutrients out of the plant, but you can remove it from the soil and force the plant to use up what it has stored...

I use a ppm meter and flush 1 time untill i get a low reading on the runoff, then water daily with ph water for 3 to 5 days.
