Curious i just was on another page and read that you should flush your plants (indoor) every 4 weeks . Does this sound correct ? I have never heard of this. Thanks

The whole concept of flushing is complete "bro science". It is something that has always been debated about and flys in the face of horticultural science and logic. Yet, people claim they can tell the difference between flushed or not flushed weed.

Nutrients cannot be removed From ANY plant by “flushing” Copious amounts of water through the rootzone.

excess build up of nutrients in your medium (aka soil, coco etc) can be “flushed” out of the medium.
