I would advise not using bud candy. Ive heard mixed reviews about it. It has chemicals in it that "preserves" the plant. I'm using an organic mix recipe i got from a friend. does the same thing with similar yield. When flushing the plant of chemicals you only want to use water in order to get all the chemicals out. Flushing should take place last two weeks or so.

Are you growing organically? Then really no need to "flush". Certainly no need for expensive "flushing agents". Just give them water.

Just want to add my own two cents here. I just went to the website, and bud candy is absolutely NOT organic. I started off at first growing using chemicals like bud candy cause all the hype. My bud got me super high, and i had plenty of it, however it tasted as if i was chewing on that plastic top that comes on a gallon milk.

Once i got my skills up and used NO NUTRIENTS, all i used was regular soil from the local garden, worm shit, and compost, and my bud comes out just as dense, smells way wonderful, and has a heavenly taste. Do this my friend and you will ALWAYS begin to turn your nose up at any type of additive or chemical.

Yes I got all AN product so I guess I'll stick with plain PH'd water ! thx for the help
Bud candy is not organic most of ANs products are synthetics! And they lie on their labels there's a post in this forum exposing how much of a fraud they are. Totally not worth the price if you are being lied to about what's in the product. Steer away from AN they are better nutrients like House and Garden & Canna!

You can use plain water when you rinse at the end, and that will help flush away any remaining chemical taste. I know that some folks don't enjoy the sweet taste that Bud Candy has, but I do. I think it adds just a little something extra to my grows, and the buds seem bigger too.

IMHO

You were clearly doing something wrong if that's what your herb tasted like! Maybe it was the growing experience you gained that changed your milk top bud to heavenly bud

I have used all three of these products and AN was far and above more value for my money spent, have you used all of the products you have mentioned?

I no longer use any of the three mentioned products but not due to what others think about the product; or the owner :wall: Actually all three products gave me very comparable results and the prices were all within my budget I just found a friendlier product that is easy to use and is ALWAYS available in my area.
