Flushing PH'd water or non PH'd??

Ok i have been thinking after many harvests i do a 2 week flush with 2 nice drains but i can never get a real nice flush? I was thinking i have been using PH down in my flush water is that causing it not to have a complete flush due to the PH down in the water? What do you guys think. My water is well water with a PH of 7.8 with no additive

Growing in sunshine organic soilless mix.

ph'ed. I've never done a flush with non ph'ed...hell I've never watered a plant with non ph'ed for that matter.

I cant speak for not phing, but I doubt your ph up would be locking nutes into your soiless mix. Get a bottle of clearex if you think that will help. It helps to break up bonded salts.

Actually i do use the final phase and seems to help but i was just wondering if the ph down is keeping the soil "dirty". Thanks for the replys.

wouldnt the plant use up the P in the down if its Phosphoric Acid ?

When you do a flush its just plain water, you do not PH adjust it there is no need.

When I do a flush, I run tapwater through since it's such a large amount of water.

Ok thanks guys for the replys. I am going to try it without adding the ph down and see if i see the diff.

Since pH effects the plants ability to absorb nutes why would you bother to ph a solution that had no nutes?

Not really an issue when your flushing. The right PH level is important for the uptake of nutes, seeing as your not adding nutes for a flush and trying to rid the medium of nutes PH isnt a problem. Plain H20 is what you wanna be using.

I jus use tap to flush seems to work with no signs of stress, really people sometimes get anal over certain procedures which i find kinda funny,research with trial and error is how i learned. It was ruff the first couple of harvests dont get discouraged
