Flushing! grow pics

Hey guys,

I'm nearly at the finishing point of my first grow, and began flushing a few days ago. I ran roughly 10 gallons through each pot and several days later the soil is still wet. I was wondering if I should wait until the soil was completely dry again until I run another 10 gallons through each? Also, does the flush alone count for the watering? and should the pots be dry when I cut them down. thanks in advance.

Too bad for your plants, flushing is a myth. It does nothing but stress your plant.

A baby rhino died in Africa because of all this ....

You should let the soil start to dry then give bloom nutes

We will not abide another rhino.

I would continue to feed them but lower doses.

That flushing you are doing (using double or more water to flush out salts) is mainly if you're experiencing problems or lockout. Does nothing to the flavor of it.

What you want to do is gradually cut back the nutes closer to harvest. Maybe last few days you would just water but at a normal amount. Why would you starve your lady when she's so close to the finish line ?

At least this is was I think is more beneficial to your harvest.

I am a day into week 10 now, and I began the flush a few days ago, so would it be worth me waiting for it to dry and then harvest or..?

the plants like it

the bugs stay away from the plants

and if your re-using your soil its prime set up for breeding bennies

I don't know anything about the plants you're growing man. Strain ? Flowering days ?

It's your grow in the end and as u can tell it's a touchy subject about flushing .....just remember the baby rhinos .......either way good luck on your first grow and take as much time as you did growing it to dry and cure it .....GL

Just like flushing is irrelevant to growing IMO and makes no sense to me ......the rhino makes no sense to you and is completely irrelevant......so were even .....respect as a grower though ........all that water your wasting could have probably saved that baby rhino though lol ..............and I use to flush/run extra water through my grows years and years ago .......but lowering feeding for a good fade at the end and giving just water in normal amounts i achieve the same results ......but to each there own as long as you like your smoke that's all that matters .....peace

I dont see any ripe bud under that light, better pics would help.

Also, what you are doing is locking out nutrients and oxygen to the roots during a 20 day flush which will pretty much slow the metabolic rate and force them to eat themselves alive slowing down the ripening/fattening process, it is your grow though so its all up to you.
Flushing works wonders when the medium gets all out if wack but cannabis seems to respond much better to tapering down the feed towards ripening.
