Flushing Before Harvest

So I am currently watering with Molasses every watering and I was wondering if when I am flushing the Nutes out before harvest should I continue to use Molasses or should I just use plain water?

You can use molasses all the way through harvest. It's not just a bud enhancer, but a flavor and aroma enhancer as well. There are other benefits too.

you don't need to stop using the molasses for the flush. flushing the plants is just to help get the chemicals from your nutes out of the plant so it doesn't create a harsh smoke. molasses is basically sugar.

when you flush use only plain water and get in at least a two week flush
Two weeks isn't necessary. A week is enough time to leach all of the salts and nutrients that have built up in the plant.

I used to use water and Flora Kleen from GH. I'm now using Final Phase from AN.

I can taste the difference between a 1 week and a 2 week flush. It's cleaner and smoother.

I agree with what you said. I forgot to take into account that you were just
using water. I always use leaching agents for flushing so I can see how you would need an extra week if you are using pure water.

Are you 100% organic or do you just not like flushing products?

I just haven't bothered to use them. I use botanicare pro grow and bloom along with liquid karma
I see :) I use them to speed up the flush because I like to use nutes to bulk up my buds until the very last second before flush.

Regardless our differences on flush techniques we both realize the importance of flushing which I see way too many people forgetting about.

Happy growing!
