You can use CFL's... T5's..8's..etc..MH...HPS. get the biggest you can afford..instaed of 800 Cfls I'd get T5's..as you can get the flower bulb cheap...On this sites there is an ad... 4 X T5's with hanger..about $199..
HTG supply.com... start with 1 or two T5's to veg then a 150W - 250W hps... T5's x 2 = approx $120 with both blue or red spectrum..the HPS is about $150... bottom line more light = more weed..
Veg till they're a decent size... no use spending time and money to get grams when if you veg a week or two longer you can 2X's your yield .... luck..happy growing..
