Flowering

Started from seed. This is my first time ever growing from seed myself but I have a lot of experience farming seed crops.

I don't know anything about bubbleponics or aeroponics. I stick to the old fashion ebb & flow or drip methods.

I bought an aeroponics clone machine once and had less than a 25% success rate. LOL. I gave that shit away and stuck with Olivia's and rockwool and have no problems.

I can't say how much I paid because nobody would believe me. Lets just say that most shops are doing a 100% mark up. If I give away my secret shop they won't be able to handle the traffic and I will screw myself over
haha, well I can understand why you wouldn't give away your secret shop.

So obviously you've had good success with ebb & flow.. would you recommend that for a first time grower? Right now I'm trying to suck in all the information I can.. but i'm undecided..

I'll most likely go with a 400w HPS and a 400w MH conversion to run on my ballast for flowering and veging respectively..

Right now I'm just trying to figure out which system I should run.

Ebb and Flow is great for a first time grower.

I use advanced nutrients now but AN is hard to find. Canna and General Hydroponics make great nutes and are available at most grow shops.

As long as you stay on top of your PH and temps and stick to the feeding schedule from your nutrient company you should be good.

About the lights. I just went off on this in another forum. Here's the link. Just look for my long ass posting https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/139303-2x2x4-growbox-help-w-lighting-2.html

Alright sounds good man, I appreciate it. So do you have a cooled reflector or do you just use good ventilation?

Did you make your own system or did you buy one?

I think you should PM me where you bought it, please, im a broke college kid! haha but seriously, i'm not a douchebag and im not gonna go tell anybody...

I made my own system. Ready to go hydro kits are easy and a good way to learn about the plumbing but they cost a lot. Figure out what you want and tell your local hydro store employee and they will get you everything.

For example. "Hey Mr. Hydro store employee. I need a grow tent about 3x3 and a 2x2 flood table with a 20 gal resevoir. Can you help me get everything together? I need a pump, hose, and my fill and drain fittings too."

Most people who work at hydro stores burn and are really chill and willing to help you out. Just don't say you're growing weed

Day 23 of flowering. There's tons of trichomes forming.

I tossed the vegging plants I had going today and replaced them with some insane genetics that I just got clones of.

Another 3 or 4 weeks until it's time to pull the flowering ladies. I can't wait. I don't know if I'm more excited to harvest what I have flowering or throw the insane genetics I got today into flower.

I've been watching this thread and am very impressed, have you thought about adding more from AN such as overdrive, final phase, carboload, sweetleaf, etc. What strain are those clones, I hate to say it but you just might have to wait until they root to flower them haha

Nobody said anything about throwing non rooted clones into flower. That would be suicide.

The clones should be fully rooted in about a week. Then I'm throwing them into 1 gallon pots with hydroton rock. They'll sit in the veg room for another 2-3 weeks while the girls who are flowering finish.

I already have overdrive and final phase but those won't be used until the end of flowering. I'm using big bud for now.

I'm not planning to use anything else from AN or any other company. While AN does make great products, it's not necessary to use their whole line. The whole line is like 20 something products.

I was completely kidding about the clones man, How many clones do you have to put in for the next batch?
